Prologue

Ryan was a huge shockwave of seven million feelings all smacking me in the heart at once.

I've never truly liked a guy before, for all that he was. A strong like, let alone love. I've never dated anyone before, and never really was wanting to. I wasn't interested.

I've always wanted that one special boy, but I learned that it's not easy to get that with all the jerks out there. That's when I decided that I would just wait for the right guy to come along. Despite my cousin's frustration with me and my apparent "unrealistic" ways of my dating life, I always believed that he would come.

And he did.

But my chances keep floating further and further away.

What I will always remember, is the time I first saw Ryan. I never had that feeling so strong before, the feeling like the one in your stomach when you drop from the highest roller coaster, but in your heart. This time, the feelings were more real - definitely real. Ryan is exactly what I waited for.

Ryan is the best combination of sweet, charming, and - come on, he's hot. I'm couldn't ask for someone more perfect. How I feel for him gets stronger and stronger, and it's honestly a little frightening.

And soon, that liking got strong enough for me to realize, that I didn't just like him, I loved him. And that feeling only got stronger.
