"Krissy!"
I hear someone snap my name, and my eyes slowly start opening into thing slits.
Now I remember that I fell asleep next to Ryan last night. I kept my eyes closed to save this moment a little longer. I hear the music playing, still. Whoever is in the room now stomped over to my iPod and turned it off.
"Krissy!" They yelled urgently. Shoot. Was that my mom? If so, kill me now please.
In shock after the relocation of what was happening settled in, my eyes shot open, to find Alyssa looking really rushed, and slightly confused. A look on her face told me she had an interesting gossip-worthy theory to explain what she was seeing, then the fear took over her look again.
My senses finally started working, and I felt everything around me, instead of just hearing. I felt something pressed up beside me. I was lying on my back, but was angled to the side where I could feel that Ryan's face was against my neck. I felt his nose and his upper lip on the side of my neck. His body was pressed up against the side of mine, so close that I could feel his soft, sleepy breathing. His arm was lazily throw over my stomach. Oh. My. God.
I moved a little away from him, but his arm tightened around me and he nuzzled his face into my neck. He then went "Mmm," and mumbled something that sounded like "Stop." He also sleepily mumbled something that I thought of as "Tired." He nuzzled his face deeper into my neck, then continued to sleep. Now that sent a million shivers through me. I would be melting like a snowman on a hot summer day if it wasn't for Alyssa's questioning gaze.
Alyssa's left eyebrow rose and she looked at us quizzically for a moment.
She snapped out of her confusion again and made a frantic gesture with her hands.
"Ryan, wake up!"
She walked over to us and slammed her hands down on the bed. My eyes widened.
"Our parents are coming home in a few hours. We have to clean! My house is in a mess and there's drunk people in the house! Major. Freaking. Drunken. Mania."
"What time is it?" I wiggle myself out of Ryan's grip, and he still slept. I looked around for my clock.
"It's four a.m. Hurry!"
"Four a.m?" I groan.
Then, the adrenaline kicks in and I realize that we should actually get moving.
Alyssa runs out of the room, I shoot up, and I look over at Ryan, who is still sleeping.
I shake his arm. "Ryan! Wake up! Hurry!"
He sleepily smiles, but is not awake yet. Even if I am in a rush over here, I still smile at his cute sleepy smile, and take the chance to move a hand away from his face and push back a short piece of hair that fell on his face. "Wake up," I say softly.
That sweet moment ended suddenly.
"Wake up!" I say aggressively and lift his arm and then drop it.
He wakes up, and smiles at me sleepily. "Oh, good mor- wait," his eyes widen and his cheeks redden. "Gee, awkward," he scratches the back of his head. His hair was disheveled, and it looked so adorable but I shouldn't think of that right now. "Sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep."
"That's okay. I fell asleep before I could wake you. Its not your fault." My face was probably as red as a tomato.
"It's dark outside. What time is it?" He looked around the room for clues.
