Evelyn woke up to the cold caress of air, the thick cover had fallen and there was no longer a second person to give of any heat.

He burrowed his face in the pillows trying to escape the cold reality of getting out of bed. Without looking he reached down to grab the covers and tried to pull them up, but thanks to the awkward angle of Evelyn's arm and the fact that it was a cover meant for two people it was way too heavy for him.

With a groan, he lifted his head and looked down at the covers in defeat.

"One day" He whispered with a frown.

And then placed his legs on the thick, fluffy, warm traitor on the floor.

He walked to the pile of his clothing on the ground in front of Snape's dresser and stood there, staring down on his clothes, contemplating his choices before walking to the door, leaving his clothes for the ones already on his body.

He placed a hand on the door and let it slide open, then he walked down the hallway, looking through the giant windows that showcased a beautiful and well cared for yard.

He took a left turn and arrived at the kitchen and or living room, there were only cabinets and a half wall that really separated the two.

Snape continued what he was doing, undisturbed by Evelyn's padding footsteps on the dark floors.

Evelyn now curious as to what Snape was cooking, waddled his way over. He stopped right where the wall and cabinets started and jumped up on one.

"Whatcha makin'"

"Breakfast" He retorted

Evelyn rolled his eyes and gave Snape a "bich really" type of look, but it was to no avail since Snape had his back turned.

"Be specific, what are you making?"

Snape turned his head and smiled at Evelyn.

"Well since you liked the pancakes at Syler, I thought that I would just make them again"

Evelyn jumped down from the cabinet and walked over to Snape's whisking form and hugged him.

"Yes, Thank you, love you" He mumbled into Snape's back

Snape chuckled and turned around giving Evelyn a proper hug.

“I love you too, now eat your food. We need to go to your house so you can change. Then we’ll go to work.”

He put Evelyn breakfast in front of him and the blond dug in. Snape made himself some food and sat across from Evelyn. They made some small talk while eating. After they finished Snape grabbed Evelyn’s hand and smiled impishly down at him.

“I don’t wanna drive today,” He said.

And with that, he transported the pair to Evelyn’s place. Evelyn frowned,

“A little heads up would be nice if you're going to zap me from one place to another.”

Snape shrugged and apologized quickly. Evelyn went to his room and quickly changed for a day at the office. He came back to the living room and stuck his hand out at Snape.

“Shall we leave?” He asked. Snape nodded and transported them to their wizard office.

Evelyn made his way to his desk and plopped down on the white leather chair, he typed in the code to get access to the computer and started to look through his emails, not noticing anything out of the ordinary he started to work on the usual. He answered the questions displayed on a government-owned site regarding magic and technology.
