(Ayy, these are all original characters. Please don't steal; not that you would cause you're a good noodle. The song is called Slow Down by TWICEYOUNG. So go take a listen if you want.)

The camera blinked on, revealing a callused hand as the screen shook like an earthquake. The man backed up from it; revealing himself to be the rough shape of a man. His hair was a cream-blonde, his eyes a tired sea-green. His chin was stubbly with the same cream coloured hair and there's a scar over the right corner of his lip. He sat down in a chair and glanced at the man sit in next to him.

He had beautiful chocolate brown hair, and ocean-blue eyes. He had a smaller build than the man next to him but had muscle all the same. He had an innocent look to him, although his eyes held a look that would only be seen in a man who had been through many a war. Clearly, he was younger than the man on the right yet, easily, anyone could have figured out that these two boys were brothers and some of the last Hilmarsdottírs on the face of the earth.

The older one cleared his throat, adjusting his place in his seat.
"Uh..Hello.." He smiled lightly in his thick Icelandic accent. He spoke quickly, as if nervous.
"Uh, I'm Leif and this is Finner," he pointed to the brown haired man. Finner waved at the camera, smiling.

"Uh, we've lost many family in wars, and voyages...We were great in number-The Hilmarsdottírs....We are now but of five members..." He rubbed his stubble as he thought.

Finner broke in with,
"Today, our step-brother, Alastair, is going to be accompanying us in a tribute our fallen kin," his accent was a bit lighter, almost melodious. Alastair sat tuning up a guitar in the background. He didn't lift his head as he flipped the camera off.
"To our enemies watching this," he noted.

Leif chuckled and shook his head.
"We're going to be singing a song that, um, Alastair composed...We think he did a good job.."

Alastair walked over and sat down, in between the two brothers; pathetically thin against their muscled bodies.
"This is called Slow Down.." Finner smiled.

Alastair started playing expertly, his fingers dancing over the strings.

"Slow down, everyone's been slowing down
But I've been up all night,
Thinking of you."
The melody started out nice and slow, yet eloquent in a way.

"Hold Tight, everyone's been keeping time
But I can't seem to choose
It's never too soon..."

"Ooh, it's too late for us to fall asleep..."

If I help you up, will you lead me through the night
Will you take my heart, can you promise me an afterlife.
Oh when we lose our time..."

"Slow down, I can see you're slowing down...
But I won't leave your side
I'm waiting for you"

"Oooh,
It's too late for us to fall asleep,"

"If I help you up, will you lead me through the night
Will you take my heart, can you promise me an afterlife.
Oh, and we lose our time."

The guitar mellowed out, playing a chord over and over rapidly.

" This is for the rest of us
Hoping its alright
Old enough to die, young enough to fight
This is all that's left of us
You can take my life
I can hear it moving on,
Rising with my eyes"

"This is for the rest of us
Hoping it's all right.
Old enough to fight, young enough to die."

The last notes were struck and everything was quiet. Finner and Leif looked solemnly up at the camera before it blinked off.

(The last few things I've published have been from years ago and I honestly feel like I've gotten worse. )
