"I don't need your help by the way. I'm getting an A in math." Luke said as soon as we walked into my room.

"Good. I wasn't planning on helping you." I snapped, not enjoying the situation.

"Look, Amber, it's not such a bad thing to be stuck with me... Right?" He asked, making himself comfortable on my bed.

"Dude! Get off! You're getting your cooties all over my bed!" I complain and jumped on the bed next to him, attempting to push him off.

As much as I tried to shove him, he wouldn't budge. I gave up, and settled for lying down next to him, his arms behind his head, mine on my face, frustrated that I couldn't get him off.

"Mooooove!" I yelled, laughing with him as I tried one last time.

"No. Just stay still." He replied.

"This reminds me of the old times." I commented, lying down, looking up at my ceiling. It was times like these when I would remember why I liked him so much.

"All we need are some pillows and blankets to make a fort." He replied, and grabbed my pillow. I watched him, giving him a suspicious look as he looked like he was about to throw the pillow at my face... He did.

"PILLOW FIGHT!" He screeched as he began to attack me with pillows.

"So immature." I said teasingly, shaking my head. I grabbed the pillow nearest to me and sat up from the bed. I launched them at him, but they just bounced off of him, unlike me, falling down.

"I think I-" He started, but the ringing of his phone caused him to stop and check it.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Haha yeah. You should've seen her face. She's just a hook up anyways, not like it'll happen again." He said into the phone, laughing.

"Yeah, sure go for her," He spoke again, laughing, sounding more like the jerky side of himself. "Yeah, have fun with her. Bye." He hung up and his posture and smirk said his arrogant jerk side was there, the childish boy gone.

"So..." I started, looking away awkwardly.

"Umm. Here. You can do my reflection for student government." He said, tossing me his paper and began playing on his phone.

"Excuse me?" I asked, giving him a 'who do you think you are' look.

"Do my homework... Please." He said, not looking up from his phone.

It was still a mystery to me how he got into student government... He's just so... Irresponsible... And just plain stupid...

"Fine." I responded and snatched his paper. I smiled mischeiviously, thinking of how in stories people always screw up the work so they could get a bad grade... Definitely what I could do.

I read the prompt at the top of the page. 'Explain what your job is, and how you are a good rolemodel to the other students'. I quickly smiled evilly and scribbled a bunch of nonsense. 'I am a jerk and I'm really good at it, because I can be an arrogant little prick and bother everyone around me. I'm a good rolemodel because I can count my toes without using a calculator, and I can eat cheese with my fingers.' I smiled at my end product, realizing how lame I am at making bad answers... Oh well...

"Here." I said, giving it to him.

He looked it over and gave me a 'what the hell' look.

"What the hell is this supposed to be?" He asked. "Did you think I'd be stupid enough to just turn it in and not read it??? With a devil like you doing my homework?" He asked, giving me a stupid look.

"Yes, I actually believed you were stupid enough to do that." I replied, smirking.

"Whatever, loser." He replied, a genuine smile beginning to form on his face.

His face lit up mischieviously, as he stood up slowly, still watching me. He quickly ran over to me and poked my waist, causing me to giggle. He tickled me, causing me to squirm everywhere.

"AGGGGHH!" I yelled as I giggled, my face probably turning red from laughing so much.

"Okay! Okay! Enough! I'm going to dieeeeee!" I yelled as I laughed.

He stopped tickling me, and instead held me by my shoulders.

"You should sign up to be in student government too... You can be my vice president... The position's still opened." He offered, grinning at me.

"Okay!" I said, giggling as he poked my waist one more time, causing me to jump up.

"Okay, just pick up a form from the office... This should be fun." He replied, smiling.

I smiled back at him, and began to frown, remembering that he was usually a douche to me half of the time. He'd probably change his mind later...

 ~

I stood in front of the office, biting my lip nervously, unsure whether or not to actually sign up for the vice president position... Would Luke REALLY want me to later? Probably not. I sighed sadly and walked away from the office, figuring he wouldn't want me to.

I walked to first period by myself, not bothering to even look for Jules since she was just an annoying little prick anyways. Especially since I was considering forgiving her last night, and texted her, but she never replied back, and later posted on facebook, whining that she wanted someone to text her.. So, whatever.

I sat down in my seat next to Luke, who was raising an eyebrow at me.

"What?" I snapped sassily. Today really just wasn't my day.

"Umm. I'm sorry did I do something to make you mad?" He asked, cocking his head.

Okay, why's he being so nice?? Is he up to something?

"No... No.. It's not you. I'm fine." I replied, sighing softly.

"Well, I picked you up a vice president form up from the office, if you were still considering it." He said sweetly and handed me the paper.

I looked at him suspiciously.

"What did you do to it?" I asked, frowning.

"I just thought.. You'd still want to do it.." He said softy, looking hurt.

"I'm sorry." I said guiltily. "I'm just having a bad day so far. It's not you"

"Hey Luke! Are you coming to my party?" A peppy blonde girl exclaimed as she ran up to Luke, clinging to his arm.

I felt a twinge- no a pounding- of jealousy. Like can she not?? We were literally just having a moment just now...

"Ha. Of course." He replied, to her. She skipped away perkily, leaving Luke as an arrogant jerk.

"Yeah. So, just fill that out and shit. Just turn it in and yeah." He said, rolling his eyes, as he scooted farther from me, and ignored me the rest of the period.
