POV Mikey

My name is Mikey Cobban and I'm eighteen years old. A week ago I lost my little sister, Cadence. I didn't tell her best friend, Brooklyn, that she committed suicide. I and Brooklyn were never close to each other. He always hang out with my sister. So I didn't know him well. He was her only friend. They are friends since the kindergarten. When Brook lost his dad she was always by his side. Of course he is worried about her. He asks me always when she is coming back and I lie him straight in his face. I say that she have a cold. I know he didn't believe me. My mom tells me every day that I should tell him what's going on and now today is the day. I'm gonna yell him the truth.

I stand in front of the school and wait for Brook. After a few minutes, he finally arrives the school. I go to him  and took his arm. I go with him to a bench and we sit down there. "What's wrong Mike? Where is Cade?" "Okay. Please just listen to me right now. A week ago Cadence took he life...she isn't here anymore." he just stares at me and then his eyes left tears. I know how he feels. "B-But wh-y?" he asks. "We don't know it....but we found a letter on her table with your name on it. Maybe you wanna read it?" I give him the letter and he starts to read it loud.

"Hey Brooklyn,

when you read this letter I'm probably in the sky right now. I k ow you are angry and disappointed. I know you asking yourself why I have done this. You remind at Louis, my ex boyfriend? You know that he bullied me after I broke up with him. You stand up for me and I'm grateful  for that. I told you that he stops to bully me after this. For a couple of weeks, he really stops with this. But then it starts again. I know you had to deal with yourself this time. So I said nothing. But he hunt me everywhere. In my dreams, in the school everywhere. I give me the fault. So I started to beat myself. I've hurt myself and everything. You never see this because I always wear a jumper.
Now I'm in the sky and finally see your Dad again. He is so proud of you. Please promise me that you trying to live your live. For me and for your dad. We watching over you.

He starts to cry and I also did. We both fall each other arms into our arms and hugging.

After this day we both started to hang out often. We both fall in love with each other.

Now we are married and have three kids. Our oldest daughter is Cadence. Yeah, we call her our daughter Cadence because it is a little memory of her aunt. Cadence is fifteen years old now. She is a lovely and strong Teenager. Like her aunt.
Then we have Maddy. Maddy is sometimes a little diva but she is also lovely. She is ten years old now.
The youngest is Davin. Davin is seven years old and smarter than other kids at his age. He is always there for his family and tries to protect them.
But we also adopt a dog. His name is Fluff and he is a senior. But we love him.

And everything happened because of Cadence. Because of her, we started to hang out and started to realize our feelings. I'm so grateful to had her as my sister.
