11. RoadTrip

POV Jack

I and the others are at the Meet&Greet of our tour. Everything was alright. I take pictures with fans and talk to them. Then two people come to us. A blond hair boy and curly brown hair girl. They look a bit weird so I ask them if everything is alright. "Uhm nope. We have a problem." the girl answer. "What problem?" "We have a problem with you." the boy answer. "Why?" "We don't like you. You don't fit in the band." it is normal for us to get hate. But it is something else when they say it straight in your face. I just stare at the found and say nothing. Not everyone can like you Jack it's okay. They are not like them. "Hey dude! Look at me!" I look up to him. He comes near to my face and whisper a "You should kill yourself..."
Everything comes up again. My past...my fears everything...
I didn't say anything I just stare at him.
Then the fans, who stands around me, start to yell at the boy. Then everything happens so fast. The bodyguards come to us and ask me what is wrong but I didn't answer them. I feel so numb and it hurts.
Because I didn't answer them they ask the fans and they explain them everything. Also the boys and Darren join us. The bodyguards bring the boy and the girl out. I hear them talking but I didn't react. I just stand there and stare at the wall. Then I feel someone who hugs me from behind. I think it is Brook. Well, the person whisper a everything is alright. Then he pull me into the backstage room.

POV Brook

We are in the backstage room. I pull Jack on the couch and we wait for the others. While we are waiting I stare at him. He looks so hurt...
We all get hate on the internet but most of them we ignore. But this is something else. To be honest, I don't now what to do. Jack isn't able to do the show. But how would the roadies react when we cancel the show? Why is everything so difficult?
After a while the others join us. "What we gonna do?" I ask in the round. "Jack is not able to do the show..." Andy said worriedly. "We can't cancel the show. They come here to hear us." "But I don't wanna leave him alone there while we are on stage..." Mikey answer. "Same. Maybe we should call Jella?" I said. Jella is Jack's best friend. She lives in the near. Maybe she know what to do. "Okay. I'm gonna call her." answer and go out of the room. I and Andy sit down next to Jack on the couch. He didn't say anything since this happened. I don't wanna know what's going on in his head. So I decide to put !y arm around his shoulders to calm him a bit down.

Rye talked to Jella and she come to us. While we talk to Darren. We decided to do the show without Jack. This is gonna be weird. Because we are otherwise always five on stage.
When Jella arrived she kneels in front of him and talk to him in a calm way and it worked. He listen to her. Jack never talked about his past and I have the bad feelings his reaction has something to do with his past. But why he didn't tell us what happened in the past. I mean, we are his friends. His band mates. We always got our backs.
"Brook?" Andy said. "Yeah?" "We have to go on stage." "Okay..." I look at him one last time and then I go with the other guys on stage.

The show was awesome. But it wasn't the same without Jack.

It was a awesome show but we missed our mate on stage. Something happened and we never let this happened again. We love you mate. We are always by your side. -Mikey

As the other boys already said stay strong mate. We love you and you can talk with us about everything. -Rye

Jack didn't talked to us about this thing. He just said he isn't ready to talk with us about that yet and we accept that. Of course I wanna know what happened in his past. But we let him the space he need it.

Hey roadies. I know I let you down for a couple of weeks. But I needed some space from social media. I needed to think about some things. Thanks to Brook, Mikey, Rye and Andy. They tried to cheer me up the last week. I'm glad to call you as my friends and band mates. I love you <3 -Jack
