"Jeon Jungkook. 80."
Jimin froze hearing the crowd erupt in cheers. He had come out to watch the end of Jungkook's performance after he was able to calm his anxiety but unfortunately, he was on the edge of another anxiety attack. Glancing at the crowd, he spotted his dad sending him a strict look without any other since of emotion other than a warning look to tell him that he better beat that.
Jimin gulped shoving his shaking hands into his pocket. Before he was able to retreat back to the locker room, he was engulfed in an excited, tight hug.
"Hyung I did it!" The boy cried out in a thrilled relief.
"Good job Kookie." Jimin pushed his personal fear back and hugged Jungkook back tightly with a smile. "I'm proud of you."
"Really??" Jungkook looked up at him then smiled even bigger with his eyes shimmering when met with a nod. "Thanks hyung!"
"Can you help me put on my uniform?" Jimin asked.
Jungkook quickly agreed and followed Jimin back to the locker room passing some of the other competitors that offered their congratulations on the skate. All the attention made him happy, but at the same time he wasn't used to all these people. Jungkook glanced down at Jimin's hand a few times before taking a deep breath and reached out and intertwined their hands.
Jimin relaxed ever so slightly from the physical contact but nothing could truly help him now. He dropped Jungkook's hand to pull out his uniform. Stripping off his shirt, he then put on blue shirt then faded to black when it reached the bottom of the shirt. When he turned, the glitter shimmered across the upper portion.
"This color looks really good on you." Jungkook gulped.
"Thanks." Jimin breathed out pushing his thick black hair back and taking his glasses off.
Jungkook stared at him but quickly looked away when he felt his face starting to heat up. Jimin took out a small case that held his contacts and carefully out them in. Blinking a few times to adjust to the new sense of dryness on his eyes, he let his vision adjust and sat down on the bench. Another round of loud cheers could be heard from where they were. Jimin tried to shake it off but his breathing started to become strained while he struggled to lace up his skates.
"Ugh these stupid laces." He cursed under his breath.
Jungkook came back from his moment of flustered day dreaming to help him. He knelt down and began tying his laces up for him.
"Thanks. I'm just...nervous."
"You're going to do great hyung. I believe in you."
Jimin nodded slightly but tensed up from the crowd cheering loudly. He saw Jungkook snap his head up to look at him, worrying the younger wasn't something Jimin wanted to do so he tried to laugh it off.
"The skater must be really good, the crowd is really loud."
"Well there are more people than normal." Jungkook thought out loud instantly regretting it. "b-but it's a good crowd!"
"I hope so." Jimin slowly rose to his feet then took his inhaler, breathing it in.
Jungkook watched him and desperately wanted to make his hyung feel better. Acting on emotion, he stepped up and wrapped Jimin up in a warm hug. Jimin closed his eyes hugging back taking a deep breath in. His heart rate started to pick up as he let Jungkook hold him.
"You smell nice..." Jimin noted.
"My mom got me new cologne for good luck. Do you like it?" Jungkook asked suddenly nervous for Jimin's answer.
