Chapter 12

The three remained tangled wit each other in deep sleep until a loud banging sounded from the other side of Jimin's door. Taehyung groaned wishing the annoying sound would stop. Unfortunately, Jimin's father's voice sounded instead, making his morning instantly turn sour.

"Jimin! Get up!"

The noise made Jungkook frown in his sleep and curl closer into Jimin's chest. With the weight of the youngest leg lifting off him, Taehyung slowly sat up to look at the locked door. He could almost see the pissy look Mr Park always had on when he yelled at Jimin for some stupid reason. Using his best Jimin voice impression, Taehyung tried to get the older man to leave.

"I'm up dad!" Taehyung mentally cringed when his voice cracked and gave away his lower voice.

"You're not..."

Taehyung sprung to his feet when the door swung open. At this point, Jimin was awake but remained still. He held Jungkook's precious head closer to his chest and covered his ears in hopes that he will sleep through everything. Mr Park's glare matched Taehyung's, gritting his teeth, he stepped towards where his son was laying only to be blocked.

"Why the fuck are you sleeping with my son?" Mr Park snapped.

"It's not like it's the first time I've slept with him." Taehyung rolled his eyes. Usually he wasn't so confident in standing up to the grown man, but recently, any ounce of respect for the elder has vanished.

"Get out." Mr Park gritted out.

"No." Taehyung crossed his arms standing taller and suddenly wishing his high school growth spurt would've came faster. "Not when he's upset like this. I'm not going anywhere."

Mr Park raised his hand to hit Taehyung. The boy's eyes widened, he has never been struck in an aggressive manner. Let alone by an adult. Jimin sat up quickly with Jungkook's head falling back down to the bed.

"Stop!" His plea made his father and friend freeze then look back at him. Jimin's heart was racing, whether it was from fear or anger, he wasn't so sure anymore. All he knew was that his chest still ached. "Let them get ready for school, we're going to be late." He muttered.

"Fine." Mr Park sent both of them a disapproving glare then walked out slamming the door behind him.

Taehyung stared at the door for a few extra seconds as if he didn't believe Mr Park had actually left. Usually there was more of a fight or Jimin would get dragged out. A shiver ran down his back before he turned around to face his distressed friend.

"I seriously hate your dad." Taehyung breathed out and received a nod in agreement from Jimin.

"Me too, but there is nothing we can do. So, don't try something stupid." Jimin warned him. "Anyway, I'm going to wake up Kookie."

Jimin sat back down onto the bed next to Jungkook's angelic sleeping face. Strands of his hair covered his eyes while a small line of drool could be noticed coming from the corner of his mouth. Jimin placed his hands onto Jungkook's small shoulder and shook him gently.

"Hey Kookie, wake up." Jimin called out sweetly only to receive a whiney 'no' from the younger boy.

Jungkook frowned and tried to wave Jimin off so he could return to his unfinished dream. Jimin smirked at his half assed effort as an idea popped into his mind. It was never too early to tease Jungkook, right? Jimin leaned down and whispered in Jungkook's ear.

"I'll kiss you if you don't wake up." Jimin lightly blew on his ear to make his tease effective.

"Kiss-"

Taehyung snorted to himself seeing how fast Jungkook's body went ridged. The small boy's eyes shot open but he refused to move. A kiss? Could he really get a kiss if he stayed still? Wait, what was he thinking? Jungkook's internally debate was cut off when Jimin cupped his face and had his turn it so they were looking directly at each other. Jungkook gulped as his cheeks heated up and turned into a bright red. It was so fast, seeing Jimin's smile had him frozen. He waited for Jimin to lean in like how he did in his dream. But it never came.
