THE BIGGEST MISTAKE

Wad Pov.

It's been a week since we started to practice for basketball competition, p'Prem and p'Knott was our senior trainer with our couch. Tommorow is the
finals for us, if we win this we can  win the gold, I'm so excited I've been playing good in the past game quite good. Even Kongpob praising me by making more three points. I don't want to disappoint p'Prem for supporting me joining here.

"Ai Wad I need to go, Prea was waiting for me we still need to practice for our stage talent" Kongpob said tappingmy shoulder.

I nodded"okay Kong see you tomorrow,"

"See you"

I pack my things and walk to the wash room, I'll just change my clothes and go home. I didn't get a shower at our every practice I just wash and wipe my sweat at the wash room. I still afraid it will happen again in shower room Kongpob said that the hot water at shower room was broken so it's got cold instead. He was the one advise me to just was here at washroom. I'm about to walk out when I bump to someone," im sorry,khab" I apologise holding my forehead.

"It's alright, are you get hurt?" I rise my head to know who I get bump to.

"Oh p'Prem, it's okay I'm fine"

"Are you sure did you get hurt you forehead?"he ask worried.

"I'm fine p'"

"Okay... Are you going home?"

"Khab p'"

"Do you want to have dinner, I'll give you a ride home later."

"I'm okay p', I'll have it at home."

"Just come, my gang has their own business now I don't have one to accompany me, na let's have dinner"

"But...."

"No but, just wait a second okay we'll have dinner, I know somewhere good."

I didn't get a chance to decline his offer, I just come to him. He drove to a noodles shop just near the university.

"What do you want?" He ask me showing the menu.

I look at the menu and pick a meatball noodles."I'll just have meatball noodles"I said.

"Khab.. we'll have meatball noodles and shrimp noodles please..."he said to the waitress,"nong Wad your drinks?"he ask looking at me.

"I'll just have warm water"

"And a glass of water khab.." he said and giving the menus to the waitress.

"How's the practice, nong Wad"

"It's fine p', are you watching the final tomorrow?"

"Of course nong, I have faith that we will get the gold this year, you play good keep it up nah nong"

I feel warm hearing p'Prem praising me, it's different feeling the way Kongpob praise me at the game, I was so happy p'Prem praising me and the way he calling me his nong was keeping my heart beat fast.

I started when p'Prem suddenly put his palm on my forehead.
"Are you alright nong Wad,your face turn red, are you having a fever?"

"No...p'...I'm fine,,... Maybe just tired"

"Your order."the waitress put our dishes on the table.

"Let's eat"
"Khab p'"

We silently eat your food and p'Prem keep me to have him to give me a ride home. While we're at his car,"Nong Wad, if you're having a hard time you can call me anytime,okay"

"Why p'"I asked confusedly.

"Just... I want to take care of my nong" he said without looking at me.

"I'm okay p'"

"Just tell me okay, oh by the way how's your study?"

"It's okay p' I'll just having a difficulties at calculus"

"Ohh I can tutor you a little if you want."

"Are you sure p'"

"Sure. I can teach you at weekend if your not busy"

"Thank you p'"

"Thanks for the food and the ride p'Prem"I said when we arrived at our house.

"It's okay nong Wad, have a nice rest, you'll having a game tomorrow, I'll be watching. Fighting."

I nodded and smile at p'Prem"You too p' rest well, see you tomorrow"

"Bye bye"
"Bye bye".

I watched his car until it's gone then I came inside our house. I feel tired but it's different now, I also feel happy having a time with p'Prem. I take a hot bath and decided to sleep early to gain more strength for our game tomorrow.

I wake up early to get ready for the game, we don't much have classes today because it's more on tournament will be held. I saw Kongpob and Em walking from my opposite way,Em wave at me when I'm about to enter the gate so I waited to them. 

"Your early today ha.. been ready for the final?" Em said being joyful toward us, but trembling in front of senios.

"Yeah, why your also early, nothing much classes today?"  I ask him.

"I'm here for Kong"

"Did you have your breakfast?" Kongpob ask.

"I just get a lite meal at house"

"Wanna join us we're eating at canteen" Em.

"Yeah join us, you'll need more energy for the game later"  Kongpob tapped me. And put his arm around my shoulder leading me to the school canteen.

We seriously eating when Oak and Tew came having their own meal. "How the pagent Kong?" Tew asked looking at Kongpob.

"It's alright, Prea and I been practicing our song for the talent portion."Kong answer while having his omelette.

"Oh you're always with Prea lately ha Kong, you two can have a perfect chemistry" Oak said teasing Kongpob.

" Nothing special between us Prea, I just saw her as a sister" Kongpob.

"How about you Was, been practicing for the final lately?" Tew asked me.

"Yeah,.... But I'm enjoying it now."

"It's his first basketball game with team though"Em said.

"Really?!!!" Oak and Tew with a wide eyes looking at me.

"How come?"Tee.

"It just...."

"Let's go to court Wad couch must waiting for us"Kongpob save me for the question.

"O''okay..." I said and get my things and followed him.

"Hey,, wait for us" the other quickly get their thing and followed us.

Having Kongpob with me also ease my nerves, I'm glad I met someone like him who I can rely on. Now I'm ready to face my own self and ready to know more.
