(This is in the perspective of the princess)

I take one last look at my reflection. I look perfect.

I almost look like a princess who has her life in order. I place my crown on my head and allow myself a minute for my thoughts to roam. Since my "encounter" with Dorian this morning, I have been preparing myself for the royals of the kingdom Carndonia will be arriving today. They will stay at the castle until the wedding. I have three weeks of freedom before I stuck marrying a beast, and I have to spend that time entertaining even more stuffy royals.

There is a knock at the door. "Your Highness, the visitors are here." I glance once more at myself, and walk towards the door.

"I am ready." I walk past Jane as she checks me from head to toe. After she and Dorian had their "issue" this morning, she has been walking on eggshells, even though I have explained it was unnecessary. She is not going anywhere. I walk down the hall that leads to the staircase. It's stairs and straighten my posture. I put on the smile that I have rehearsed so many times in the mirror. I head to the grand staircase. As I take my steps down the stairs, I remember to always keep my head up. I can feel the everyone's eyes on me, as I descend down the stairs. I avoid eye contact with anyone. I finally make it to the end of the stairs. I walk gracefully to Dorian's side, and drop into a curtsey. I keep my head down slightly, and avoid eye contact with anyone. I shouldn't have to do this in my own kingdom. This is humiliating. I hear Dorian's voice.
"Here is my beautiful fiancee. You look radiant darling." He kisses my cheek, and it takes every ounce of will power to not flinch away. I turn towards him and give my best smile. I turn back to the guest.
"I apologize if I kept anyone waiting. May we proceed to the dining room?" I lead everyone to the dining room. The guards open the door to the dining room, and we began to take our seats. There are six people in total. The King, my father, The Queen, my mother, Dorian and me, and the two guest. After everyone takes there seats, I find that I am directly in front of the Prince. I stare into his eyes, and then look down at my plate. He is incredibly beautiful. The dinner has been served, and there are many assortments of food. The wedding for Jewel and Dorian will be very soon." I clench my hands under the table, and try to pace myself. I recall this morning, and I start to have a panic attack. I try conceal it. I then hear a soft voice.
"How do you feel about it, your highness?"
