The sun was setting beneath the horizon as a lone figure stood on the sands of a beach on some desolate island in the Caribbean. Her long, knee length, wavy, jet-black hair was flowing in the breeze as she raised her hands out towards the sea with her eyes closed. She was moving her hands and her arms with the push and pull of the tides. The crescent moon tattoos on the tops of her hands glowed brightly as the moon was slowly rising into the sky. She opened her silver eyes and smiled for the tides all over the world were at her command.

When she was finished with her work the tattoos faded from her hands, the tides would rise with the dawn. Unbeknownst to her though was that she wasn't alone; a man appeared out from the jungle to find that he wasn't alone on this long desolate beach. He gasped in shock when he saw a woman with long, knee length, wavy jet-black hair standing there with her back facing him. To his astonishment, he found that she wasn't enjoying the beauty of the sunset. As he stepped out onto the beach, he radiated a heat that warmed the cold sand beneath the woman's feet. The woman spun around on her barefooted heels to face the being that had startled her only to find herself speechless by the man standing before her as her silver eyes widened in shock.

He was extremely handsome, as in the hunky movie star handsome that is if movie stars had even been around at this time. The man had tanned skin, golden hair and golden eyes that shined as bright as the sun. He wore a medieval style knight's outfit with a sun emblem on his chest and a red cape that hung over his shoulders. The outfit was a few hundred centuries before its time. The man stared at her mesmerized by her beauty.
She had ivory colored skin, silver lips and striking silver eyes that shined as bright as the moon. She wore a long light blue dress with a silk grey shawl that hung loosely below her shoulders and connected to the top of her dress. Resting upon her head of flowing knee length black hair was a crescent moon tiara.

She was bare foot as she stood upon the sands staring at him with her silver eyes wide in shock. She didn't know whether to stay or to flee her heart was torn so she thought.

'If he does nothing when I turn to leave, I leave, but if he says something then I stay.'

She turned as if to flee and he spoke hastily, his deep voice was kind and gentle to the ears and seemed to flow off his tongue like a warm summer breeze.

"Wait, please forgive me, I did not wish to startle you..."

The woman smiled to herself as she turned to face the man and said rather quietly.

"Well you did." She then smiled and spoke firmly in quizzical tone. "Who are you if I may be so bold as to ask?"

"I'm Solaris and..." Solaris smirked as he eyed her, "who might you be?"

"Lunaria, my name is Lunaria." Lunaria's face turned a faint shade of pink as she spoke hastily in her embarrassment before clearing her head of her sudden thoughts to ask. "What fray tell are you doing here I remember this island to be uninhabited?"

"I could ask you the same thing, so Lunaria what are you doing here?"

"No fair I asked you first!"

Solaris laughed, "Well if you want answers fine I'll tell you, but first tell me this. Have you ever seen the sunset?"

"No..." Lunaria shrugged. "I've never really had the time to look."

Solaris walked over to her and smiled a warm smile as he placed his hands upon her shoulders and spun her around saying into her ear. "Really, well then turn around."

Lunaria's eyes widened as she stood there with his hands resting upon her shoulders his touch was so warm against her cold skin it warmed her heart, but what stunned her more than his warm touch was the beauty of the sunset. The clouds were a pinkish purple hue; the sky was many shades of red, orange, and yellow, with small hints of green and sky blue. Solaris smiled when he saw her reaction.

"This is my favorite time of day. It's when I get to paint the sky with the beautiful colors of the rising and setting sun."

Then it dawned on her, as Lunaria proclaimed with a beautiful laugh. "Of course you're the Guardian of the Sun, Inferno's brother! Oh how could I have forgotten?"

Solaris laughed a kind laugh as he spoke to her with a warm smile.

"I am, and you're Atlanta's sister, Lunaria the Guardian of the Moon."

The way he said that was sweet and loving and Lunaria felt a blush slowly creep up her face as she turned away slightly to blush a scarlet red. She turned back to stare into his golden eyes which were as kind as his smile. His eyes and smile warmed her heart just as she always hoped it would. She couldn't help but smile at that and Solaris blinked his mind was lost in a dreaming daze as his eyes gazed at her smiling face. She was just as beautiful as his brother described her to be. He then blinked out of his daze so she wouldn't think he was staring at her to bow and gave her a flower.

"The Sun Orchid blooms only at dawn and at dusk and is a gift to only you," He paused and then asked. "If I asked you to meet me here at dawn would you come?"

Lunaria smiled at him saying as she took the flower. "It's a date..." As soon as she said that, her face turned a faint pink color in embarrassment over the sudden realization of what she had just said to him. Solaris's smile widened causing her to blush a light shade of red. Solaris softened his warming gaze and charming smile as he spoke.

"Well then I guess it's a date, until the dawn."

He stepped closer to her, bent forward, and gently kissed her cheek causing her to blush a bright scarlet red. Lunaria's silver eyes widened and shined like the full moon. Her heart skipped a beat as she stared into the golden eyes of the man that shined as bright as the sun. His voice was smooth, kind, and very romantic as he spoke to her with a captivating grin.

"Farewell Lunaria Lady of the Moon, I promise that I shall wait patiently until the dawn to see you again."

He was flirting with her. Lunaria smiled making him smile as dusk faded into night. Solaris left vanishing in a golden light leaving her to stand there alone upon the sand. Even after he left the sand was still warm beneath her feet. Lunaria was stunned she could still feel the warm touch of his hands upon her shoulders and the kiss on her cheek. She held the beautiful Sun Orchid in her hands it was gold with orange tips it glowed with the last light of the setting sun and continued to glow in her hands. She smiled at the flower and of the man who had given it to her. She felt something burning inside her heart, and for some reason she couldn't wait until dawn to see the golden haired man who had stolen her heart forever. Whenever they met, they would talk mostly and laugh, occasionally blush, and every time they parted ways, he would always give her a flower and kind loving smile.
