Solaris appeared in Death Valley in the middle of his oasis, fell to his knees, and slammed his fists five inches into the ground screaming in both rage and fear.

He pulled out his hands they were steaming from the heat of his body and were perfectly unharmed! Then he buried his head into his hands and started to sob bitterly in grief. He didn't want to leave her, but he knew if he had stayed his mind would have likely snapped and there was no telling what he would have done. He was afraid to find out.

The eclipse it did something to his mind it snapped the reasoning between rage, love, and fear. He was always angry, always fearful, always in pain...but he could never tell her
the truth about how his body ached in never ending pain from the scar. It was the never-ending burden upon his heart.

Tears fell from his eyes he had to gain control of his emotions if he was to ever help Lunaria raise their daughter, he had too, but that meant he would have to let her go. To sever the connection until he felt in his heart that he wouldn't hurt his baby girl...but telling Lunaria to stay away...to leave him alone was like telling her he no longer loved her, but he loved her more than she would ever know.

That's why he had to say goodbye even though it would shatter his already frozen heart. If he told her the truth about his rage and pain, she would likely cross in an attempt to help end his pain and suffering. He couldn't bear to have her go through the same amount of pain he felt every day of his life dealing with that bloody scar over his heart. He had to let Lunaria go for her sake and for their daughter's life!

No matter how much it would hurt...
