Solaris was a poet by heart, and when he heard Lunaria sing his heart was so deeply moved by her words that he just had to write her a song.

Words come easily to him, but that wasn't the problem. Piles of papyrus littered the sandy dry soil as Leo the Niemen lion was lounging on the warm ground of the dry cracked land known by the tribal natives as Ground on Fire, to Solaris it was Death Valley.

Leo rolled over onto his back, squirmed a little to scratch that stubborn itchy spot, as well as to get the warmth of the sun shining down on his belly. He then yawned and started to drift into sleep only to be rudely woken up by Solaris's sudden groaning. Leo opened one of his bright golden eyes and flipped over onto his stomach, laying there like the sphinx of Egypt, and watched with a sharp-toothed yawn as the man before him was now banging his head against a coconut palm like a crazy person while muttering in his frustration.

"Nothing---Nada---Stupid---Useless---Brain!" Solaris rested his head against the tree and groaned. "Grahhhhhhhhhh...I can write poems in a snap, lyrics to a song as if it's second nature, and yet now that I truly need some inspiration my mind is a blank empty void!"

Leo stared at his master with a half-closed gaze over the man's incisive worrying. He opened his mouth with a mighty yawn, stood up, stretched in the downward dog and striking cobra, and then padded over to his master, placed his head against the man, and shoved him to the ground with a gentle push. Solaris gasped in shock upon the ground and then sighed into a smile over the lion before groaning in shock as Leo flopped down onto the ground resting his massive furry head upon Solaris's chest.

"Ouph! Okay---OKAY! I get it! Your right Leo I'm stressing too much over this...Now can you get off me please?"

Leo sat up and allowed his master to do the same. Solaris sighed as he scratched behind the lions ear. "I know Lunaria will like whatever I sing for her...but I want to show her just how much I love her as she showed to me with her song. She deserves that much."

Solaris thought for a moment about lyrics to the song and came up blank again he groaned in defeat until he heard the sound of a palm tree bursting into flames. He turned his head to the side and saw his brother Inferno's yellow tinted skin and flame-headed hair gazing at him with a smirk.

The King of Atlantis and Guardian of Fire was leaning against a now burning tree with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Having trouble wooing Daphne Apollo?"

Solaris gave him a flat glare. "Not Funny!"

"Oh I'm only joking brother...sooo what seems to be the issue, and don't say it's nothing I could feel your aggravation from half way across the globe."

Solaris sighed and leaned against the tree. "Huh I'm trying to write a song for Lunaria but my minds drawing a blank."

"Well there is a simple answer to your dilemma brother. You heard her song right, so just tell her how much you love her. Tell her how long you've wanted to meet her and that lay on that romantic sap until she gets a cavity from your sappiness."

Solaris smirked fondly at his brother. "Thanks brother..."

"No problem and good look with taming the fair Lady Luna."

Inferno left, Solaris's eyes widened, and he smiled. "Lady Luna...Lady Luna..."

Later that evening at dusk, Lunaria greeted Solaris at the Grand Canyon. She arrived wearing her light blue dress and silver shawl. She was greeted to the sight of Solaris leaning
against their carved oak tree dressed in a loose golden shirt and darker shaded pants. He was grinning at her with a gaze of loving desire.
"Hello my love. Now come here you..."

He motioned for her to come to him with a small smirk and Lunaria's silver eyes softened into a gaze of hidden desire as she alluringly walked over to him. She stood in his arms and moaned as she was pulled into a passionate kiss. Lunaria's eyes closed as his tongue worked its magic within her mouth. He pulled away grinning and spoke with love in his voice.

"I have a surprise for you my love."

"A surprise..." She clung desperately to his shirt and spoke with love in her voice. "What kind of surprise?"

Solaris spoke, "I've written a new song...and I'd like you to be my first audience."

"Oh really...well I'd love to hear it."

Solaris kissed her cheek and smiled when he pulled away to sing his hand rested beneath her chin with a gentle feather touch that sent goosebumps of love down Lunaria's arms. Solaris smiled lovingly and slowly walked around her body to stand behind her back. He stepped forward until he was almost pressed against her back and gently caressed her cheek with the back of his hand, trailed the back of his hand down her neck to her right shoulder. He then slid his hand down her forearm before wrapping his arm around the front of her abdomen to gently touch her chest while his left hand fiercely grabbed ahold her waist as he kissed her neck with love. His sudden actions made Lunaria's breath hitch within her throat over his loving touch. Her silver eyes closed and she moaned only to gasp faintly as he sung in a lustful whisper into her ear with his golden eyes half closed.

You are my Lady Luna
My everlasting light
Illuminate that shroud of darkness
With your radiant silver smile

Your eyes shine like mirrors
Showing the secrets of your heart
Secrets that men would kill for
Just to get a glimpse at your heavenly desires

You are my Lady Luna
My sun sets to your divine
Even though my heart is pleading
To stay here in the fading light

Why must our hearts be parted?
By the sea of raging tides
I wish to tell you the longings of my heart
To hear your voice, in the cusp of a song
To see your moon, and feel the cold of night
To glimpse your beautiful smile
To show you the hidden desires of my love

As my sun sets, and darkness comes
I long for this aching heart to stop
Just cut me open with a knife
And let this aching heart bleed
My burning eyes how they've longed to see
My Lady Luna dancing beyond the sea
Among the stars that burn so bright, while wishing one of them were me

I am apart from my Lady Luna
She knows not my longing pleas
As I'm forced to swiftly, flee her night
For the safety across the sea
My burning eyes, oh how they've schemed
To find a way beyond the seas
To be with her, in her bed of black ebony
My eyes are shrouded from your night
And all your glorious beauty
My mind will dwell within my dreams
To distract my heart
To give me peace
When I long for my Lady Luna
All I have to do is dream
And lift my voice to her in song
To this loving melody
To hear your voice upon the breeze
It leaves me falling upon my knees
You are my dearest Luna
And for you my love
I would give you everything

He kissed her cheek and Lunaria turned around to face him in shock. Her trembling silver-lipped mouth was opened slightly in her shock. She was left speechless over his loving song as her eyes glistened with her faint unshed tears. Her dainty hands barely felt like they were touching his chest as she spoke softly to him with love. "Oh Solaris..."

She shed a single tear and kissed him moaning in love as Solaris pulled her closer to his body with a groan of lust before he picked her up holding her by the bottom and carried her into his hidden cave for a moment of pleasure that would have an unexpected but wonderful effect for the couple later on.
