"Get her in there!"

Heartbeat.

"I'm fucking trying!"

Heartbeat.

"Come on pretty girl..."

Heartbeat.

[***]

"You got it, boss."

Hands... hands on my face. Hands on my body.

"Give her some more, we're not there yet."

What...what is going on?

[***]

My throat was dry, it felt like I hadn't drank anything in weeks. Dehydration was the first step towards torture, I remembered.

I could barely lift my head in the air. Or could I?

I don't know.

I could go back to sleep now...

Yeah, sleep is good. Sleep is painless.

[***]

"Wake the bitch up!" Someone screamed loud and clear, right across where I was sitting.

I felt a huge amount of ice cold water smashed my face, causing my body to react and brutally wake up. The water infiltrated my clothes, leaving me soaking wet and freezing.

It took a few seconds for my eyes to get used to the shining light in front of me. All I could gather was that I was in a meager dark room, sitting on the most uncomfortable chair in the world.

"Wh-where..." I started, choking on air, feeling my lips cracked under their dryness.

I cleared my throat, but couldn't try to speak up again without coughing.

I heard movement, didn't see anything though. The light was directed straight to my face, making everything look like it was high-contrasted.

I looked around, suddenly feeling the pain the glass shards had left all over my back. I scoffed, thinking about how these would make nice scars, that is, if I get out alive of this one.

"Finally." Said a distant voice, croaking from the shadows.

"Well..." I started, clearing my throat again. "That's ominous."

I chuckled a bit, but the person didn't reply. I was questioning myself to whether I knew that voice or not. I gathered I didn't.

"What do you want, exactly?" I asked, regaining a bit of energy because of the adrenaline.

Movements again, somebody was walking. I heard a few breaths, he wasn't alone. Something brushed on the floor, a loud screeching sound lingered until a chair appeared in front of me, a man pulling it out of the darkness.

I recognized his face from the files T'Challa had showed me. Although he did have a few more scars right now than on the pictures.

"Oh, hey, bro." I sarcastically smiled, playing with words.

He grunted, understanding what I had just done. "Clever girl." He let out in a creepy tone.

I hummed in responses, sensing my body weakening. I was still losing blood.

"Where are we?" I inquired, not hoping to get an answer back.

Issa chortled, he shook his head and locked his brown irises with mine. They were as dark as could be, tinted by a mask of cruelty.
