The War
On the battle field men grunted as they clanked their swords. Men were being stabbed and bodies dropped to the ground. It was a war for land, power of the throne, economic stability, and militia that protected the kingdom.
The light was fading from the sky. Both armies lit fires that shone across the field. His metal helmet was on the ground. The knight was pushing the other sword with all his strength keeping it away from his head. The other man, the blue herd, kicked him and he fell to the ground. On the ground the lion crest, begin to crawl to his sword. A knight, well-built tan skinned female goddess, kicked him. Another blue herd approached her stabbing the vulnerable side of her gear. The sword went right through her stomach. She dropped her sword gasping for air. The knight on the ground stabbed the blue herd solider and kicked the other one. Spencer, the female knight, held her side as blood gushed out of her stomach. The knight friend, willowy Ralph, helped pick her up dragging her up to the tent with wounded soldiers.
Spencer is set on a cot holding her side when the gorgeous nurse, a beautiful brunette with long hair removes her hand. Spencer puts her hand back on the injury.
The nurse, princess Emily, moves Spencer's hand again. "You're quite the fighter." She takes some bandages and places pressure on the bleeding wound.
A knight from the outside the tent calls out, "We have more injured. They can be patched up."
Sweat beads glisten on Spencer's forehead. She exhales as removes her armor. Smooth skin on meets solid abs of the tan skinned young woman. The beautiful young cream skinned with beautiful hazel eyes notices as she dismantles the gear from him the difference in her. The fluffy jet black short hair could have fooled her. Emily inhales and requests, "I'm going to need privacy."
Two men groaning reply, "What?"
Emily nods at a nurse nearby demanding, "I can't concentrate with all of you in here." The blind separates the injured on the other side of the tent.
The nurse take's off the knight's armor to reach her shirt and there's a large stab wound through the left side of her stomach. The knight flinches. The knight, which is a women her biology showing as the princess takes off the knight's shirt. Princess gulps, but smiles at the rather in shape body she has never seen anything quite like her, "There must be a damn good reason why you are in the war?"
Spencer answers, "Just put some patches on it. I'll be fine." The hot high temperate tent causes sweat on Spencer, but her body heating up as well. The princess feels a slight light burn from holding the wound and her other hand being on the other side of Spencer's stomach.
Emily removes her hand to see the puncture of flesh from her stomach to her toned back. "You've been stabbed through your stomach, through flesh. You should barely be alive."
The other nurse Karen, young with golden hair, comes into the shelter room," Princess Emily I don't know how long you can hide from the castle guards."
"When I'm done with this injured soldier."
"Pr-pr-princess...You're no nurse, you're just the princess." Spencer's body completely freezes.
"I'm more than a cute fragile princess." The princess looks into the brown eyes of the knight. It feels like looking in awe at something new, mesmerizing. "Don't move. What's your name?" She begins releasing the bandage noticing her hands were on the bandage and the other side of her abs, "Well?" she waits for a name. She applies the pressure harder.
Spencer flinches then she grunts, "Spencer."
"Spencer this won't heal itself."
There is a silence between the two. Spencer can only think of more reasons why she fights in the war. Fighting for food, for their land from the invaders, protect humans, and whatever dark secrets lie within the castle. It was worth it. To protect someone as beautiful as this princess was all worth it. Spencer's breathing becomes normal again as she looks into the pretty hazel eyes of the princess. The pain of the wound being sliced through. Looking at the princess's hands on her stomach and then looking at her. Then it kicked in. Spencer could feel it. The healing of her body, starting with the back. She was grateful for the healing, but wouldn't have mind being in the princess's care for longer.
An Ralph bursts in shouts, "We need General Spencer." He brings in the armor of an injured man. His body slashed with claw marks 3 times the size of a hand. She looked at the armor in fear like the other men. "We had to retreat. The others retreated also. There is something...something out there."
Emily interrupts, "It's a war. Animals are outside too. Privacy, please."
Ralph exhales his voice cracks, "No. Something fast. Something large. THE other side retreated."
Spencer listens. It is quiet. No metal clanking or shouting. It's only the evening turning to night. She puts her hand down holding onto the patch, "Okay."
Emily shakes her head in disapproval, "S—He needs a little bit more time." Emily bites her glossy lips while looking at Spencer's aligned lips.
The pain begins to stop. Spencer feels her body heal from the back the middle of her body, and now where the blood coming out of her stomach was going to heal and there wasn't even going to be a scratch. Spencer turns to look at Emily the curtain closes. "You can't keep me here."
Emily gets closer to Spencer. From the armor Spencer's crimson red amulet falls to the floor. Spencer is highly protective of the amulet her farther left for her. "I'll get it."
"No. I want you to heal." Emily pushes Spencer back on the cot. She runs her hands down firm abs to the side wound which has bleeding shrunk. Her hand goes to patch it, Spencer holds her hands. Spencer is tense, Emily is gentle, but in that moment. Spencer's eyes soften looking into the hazel eyes of Emily. Emily blushes and looks down moving her hand from the top of Spencer's shirt.
Spencer is at lost of words, "i—I—thre...the
Emily pushes harder on the bandage, "You're not leaving until your taken care of." She picks up the amulet and put it on the other side of Spencer.
Spencer removes Emily's hand to lower her bloody shirt. The bandage taped on her wound, which was healed and only surrounded by blood.
She tries to help Spencer fix her shirt. "Your bravery is admirable. You pull it off with the ponytail and short hair.
The other men are shouting, "Run!!" There is a large growl heard across the distance of the field throughout the forest. Large stomping of a creature echoes like an earthquake. It was the fulad-zurah. 3 times the size of a bear with the senses of a wolf, with a demonic side and a person underneath. It's eyes glowed hell red, it's scratches left deadly gashes strong enough to cut a man in half, it's senses powerful to have an advantage on the field. It's roar echoed from the top of the mountains.
A guard enters the tent, "Someone else can take care of him!"
Whitney, a young circular face, evenly rounded body, and a mix of brown and gold hair wavy like noodles, took down the curtain. "Princess!"
Emily starts to leave, but looks back at Spencer. As she is leaving the curtain she looks at the cot and Spencer is not there. The cot stained with blood extra bandages on the floor and the cot. The gear is gone. She completely vanished. Whitney calls her again, "Princess!"
