FULAD-ZURAH

The beast has left countless disembodied people. The description sharp crystalline claws, retractable on the shifter, pointed ears like a hound, large, strong, icy blue eyes.

Emily goes to the town tavern. Drunk men peasant men and some knights. The knights sit together at a table sober, but playing cards. Coming out of the back a woman smoking in a skimpy pink dress exits before a man buckling up his dirt stained trousers. The only women were the prostitutes smoking, trying to hide, or sitting in any guys lap they could. A lot of the men at the bar stand wreak of alcohol and have lightly trimmed beards. The princess enters wearing servant dress and shoes she burrowed from Karen. Karen knew Emily had no interest in the king to be and fancied that knight of hers who she spent an awful lot of time with.

She took the risk. She wanted to escape and be with her knight. She didn't have to have the fancy life she just wanted someone she could be happy with. She walked more over to the table with the knights. A drunk calling her over from the bar.

When he places his hand on her body without permission Emily tries to fend for herself pushing the man off only for another man to join. A knight comes over only to get punched in the face. His friend across from him gets up and tosses over with one of the drunk men.
Princess Emily sees an escape when a man with a bruised eye blocks her. In an instant he is yanked across the bar landing at the bar windows shattering the glass. Another young man behind Emily is sucker punched to the ground with a loud thud. She is more than happy to see the person in front of her, Spencer.

When a man from behind Spencer goes to grab her he is flipped to the wooden table breaking in half when his body lands on it. When Spencer is punched to the ground and her sword put on her it's a decision. She could kick him throw him across the tavern breaking the tavern more and become the questionable knight, or stay on the floor.

A chair is knocked on the man's head as he topples to the ground. With the back of her hood down the princess smiles.

Spencer gets up to grab her from the rest of beer, table breaking, punching, and shouting continuing in the tavern.

Chattering of the men and it's a quiet night. The lights are the only thing seen in the distance. No one is chasing them. Emily moves closer to Spencer and smiles.

Spencer removes some hay out of Emily's hair. They both gaze at each other. Spencer brakes the eye contact. Emily throws her handkerchief on the ground. "O no." She says.

Spencer picks up the tangerine colored handkerchief and gives it back to Emily. Emily says, "O my god! You aren't going to say anything."

"What do you want me to say?? The only thing to say is your welcome."

Foolish, cute knight what does it take to make you realize that we have more? "Why don't you..."

"I just stuck my neck out for you. I have to stay in order. You're a distraction."

"Distraction to what?"

A pretty princess, a smart princess she didn't expect. It wasn't the plan. The plan is to go after this thing. She doesn't need friendships, relationships whatever it's called. Especially, not with the future queen. "You walked here yourself, didn't you?"

"If I did aren't you going to ask to walk me home?" She grabs the hilt of Spencer's sword. Spencer doesn't say anything. Just looks and breaks the stare away. "Jesus. Is this going anywhere?" Spencer is so cute, but horrible at expressing emotions.

"Maybe. You make things so complicate." The princess doesn't say anything. "I could teach you." Spencer looks sheepishly away, "You're the princess you should know how to fight.
