Moira's lips tugged upwards into a small smile, leaning down and pressing a loving kiss to Angela's forehead.
"I promise liebe, I'll be back before you know it."
"Just...please be smart. You're in Overwatch's darkest sector. People hate us enough as it is..I.." Angela cut off, biting her lower lip as her azure eyes slowly welled with tears.
Moira frowned at the sight of her lover getting so upset. Looking at the stark contrast of each other's uniforms, the geneticist removed her Blackwatch beret, letting it drop to the floor. Picking Angela up bridal-style, she kissed her passionately, tears rolling down her cheek as she felt the blonde's hands cupping her face.
After pulling away from the kiss, Angela leaned up and gently pressed their foreheads together, refusing to let go of Moira as Reyes announced the Blackwatch team would be leaving in 30 seconds.
"When I return, we'll never be apart again. I swear," Moira whispered, watching as Angela smiled faintly. "No matter what happens or what Talon tries to offer us."
"I'll be counting on it."
