"That was fucking awkward." He grumbled. I only laughed in agreement.

He collapsed onto his bed in what seemed like exhaustion and I took a seat at his desk and spun boredly in his chair. "I didn't know you had a sister." I told him.

He closed his eyes. "She's a brat."

"How old is she?"

"She's a freshman. Sorry about her being so rude, by the way. She always gives my friends a hard time." He grumbled, and I wondered if that was why I hadn't ever met her.

"It's fine," I shrugged, remembering once I was that little girl. Only younger, and less cruel and instead more quiet around Robby and Vince's girlfriends. I was never sure why I didn't like them, I just didn't.

"We're gonna watch a movie," Alex said, rising to his feet and turning on his flatscreen. He searched through movies on DVR and I slipped off my shoes, taking a spot on his huge bed in his huge room.

He picked a horror movie, and I rolled my eyes as he shut off all the lights, making it almost pitched black as the movie began in darkness. The movie called Dead Silence.

I yawned, relaxing against his mountains of pillows and his very soft comforters.

As I began to doze off, I felt a sharp pinching on my upper thigh and flinched, giving Alex a look. "What is wrong with you?" I moaned out, rubbing beneath my tired eyes.

I couldn't see well in the dark lighting, but I did see the light outline of his face, the glowing of the screen outlining that smirk I knew he was giving me. "You're not falling asleep." He said.

"I'm tired and it's late." I said, feeling halfasleep.

"Ava, I did not bring you here to watch you sleep, just watch the goddamn movie."

I tugged myself away from him, saying nothing.

"You don't even know how this movie ends," He groaned as I stretched back and layed down comfortably on his bed.

"Everyone lives." I said boredly.

"Ava." He growled, sounding very irritated, and next thing I knew he was sitting on me.

"Alex," I gasped in shock, trying to push him off.

"That's right my sweet little princess, say my name." He said, grabbing my wrists as I squirmed from beneath him.

"What the hell, get off."

"Are you awake now?"

"Yes, idiot, I'm awake. Get off." I groaned, trying to release my wrists from his hold as he leaned over me, putting all his pressure on my stomach.

He door clicked open and the both of us looked up, seeing his mom flick on a lamp. She gave him a flat look. "Alex, get off of her."

He let out an annoyed growl and released me, rolling off and onto the bed beside me. Danny gave me a sympathetic look as I sat up and rubbed my head uncomfortably. "I just came to see if you wanted anything, I made those brownies you liked," She said, looking at me. "The ones with the caramel and pecans."

My mouth watered. "That sounds great, I would love some." I said in excitement.

"I'll bring some up, then," She said back with a wide and equally excited grin, turning and going down the stairs.

Alex paused the movie lazily, giving me a bored look. "That was so unnecessary." I told him and he only smirked again.

"You're going to watch this movie." He said, stopping and rewinding the entire thing.
