"I'm so sorry Mike, but I can't give you this rose."

"Are you fucking serious?!" I said in complete surprise on my side of the couch as Matt just laughed like a madman on the other side.

"Your precious Mike is gone now, Josh is going to win this whole thing!" He gloated while clapping his hands.

"No, no," I said trying to shut down his early celebration, "Ethan is still in the race!"

"How can you guys even watch that garbage?" Leo asked, pacing back and forth behind the couch trying to fix the tie around his neck with no success.

Simultaneously Matt and I gasped and whipped our heads around, "Never disrespect The Bachelorette." I stated matter of factly placing a hand on my chest. "Sometimes I feel like I'm dating a complete stranger," Matt pouted hugging himself as he slowly fell onto his side as if he was deeply wounded.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Just help me with this damn tie," Leo said while flopping down on the couch in between us. Right on cue, Matt sat right back up and began fixing the mess that was tied around Leo's neck. "What's up Leo?  Why have you been so moody this past hour?" I asked tucking my legs underneath me. Leo let his head fall back against the couch and sighed, "I'm not trying to be, I'm just annoyed. We have a very important catering job today and tomorrow that we have been preparing for months now and I just heard that not only did Megan called out sick but now Stacey can't come in because her kid got food poisoning. So we will be short staff for today and tomorrow. Management is going to be a bitch to deal with today," He said rubbing his forehead with one hand.

I looked at Leo with a puzzling look, "Does a restaurant like La Petals really do catering?"

"Gods, no," Leo said turning his head toward me, "The only reason we are catering now is because the Quinn family requested it." He stated as if it was supposed to mean something to me. I squinted my eyes slightly, "Ooooh ok? What's so special about them?"

Both men looked at me as if I had grown a third head, "Hunny... do you not read the newspaper or anything online?" Matt looked at me while he tightens Leo's tie, patting his boyfriend's chest to signal he was all done. "No, not really," I said honestly. If I'm being completely honest I never was one for social media, all my friends made fun of me for it but every time I tried to get into whatever hot new app or social media platform would come out I couldn't get into it. I truly enjoyed being in the moment instead. "Well hunny, you are the 1%," Matt said leaning back against the arm of the couch, "The Quinn family is practically the richest family in Washington. They have a company called Quinn Inc. that's really successful and they pretty much have their hands in a lot of other businesses on top of that. To top it off, the whole family practically look like Gods and Goddesses. Life is just so unfair," Matt playfully huffed out running his hand through his black hair.

"Exactly why the next two days are going to be hell," Leo chimed in, "If the Quinns don't enjoy the service, could you imagine what that could do for business."

"Do you know what they're doing exactly to have La Petals cater for them?" I asked curiously.

"One of the pretty boys are getting married," Matt answered quickly, I should have known Matt would know everything about this stuff; he absolutely loves celebrities and stuff like this.

"Pretty boys? Is it the CEO's son or something?" I questioned.

Matt made a face as if trying to figure out the right way to answer the question, "Kinda sorta, I guess." he started, "The CEO originally was a man name, Cedric Quinn. But unfortunately him and his wife, Bianca, died in a car wreck 10 years ago, so their two sons were made CEO right after it happened. I don't think they were very old at the time either, teenagers maybe even early 20s. So it's the original CEO's son but the son is now one of the CEOs alongside his brother if that makes any sense."
