I stared into his breathtaking blue-green eyes as his name passed by my lips, "T-Tobias," my voice called out without my permission.
The moment his name escaped my lips and reached his ears, multiple emotions ran across his gorgeous face before anger covered it as he spoke, "What the hell are you doing here?!" Tobias asked, his voice filled with confusion.
My eyes blinked a few times as my brain slowly processed his question, "What?" I asked sounding completely dazed.
Annoyance spread across Tobias's face as he continued to looked down to me, his eyebrows narrowing making the skin between them scrunched up slightly. Just as Tobias was about to open his mouth to say something, suddenly footsteps along with a voice approached from behind him.
"Tobias, why are you being so loud?" a smooth but strong voice asked sounding slightly annoyed before appearing next to Tobias.
Breaking our eyes away from each other, Tobias and I looked over to the tall handsome man who now stood next to him. It didn't take me long to figure out who the stranger was as my eyes widen in shock, "Sebastian Quinn?" I gasped softly as I covered my mouth.
Hearing the sound of his name, Sebastian looked down at me with a very dull face.
Sebastian briefly looked to me for a half a second before looking back to this brother, slightly brushing me off as he spoke.
"Why are you making such a fuss over a girl being on this floor? Everyone has access to the filing floor." Sebastian smoothly questioned his brother, demanding answers with his stone cold stare.
Tobias glared harshly at his brother, "I fucking know that! There is no way that she works here! She works at La Petals!" he yelled.
Sebastian slowly turned his eyes toward me. He was quiet for a moment as he stared at me with cold eyes causing a shiver to run up my spine.
"You there," Sebastian said sternly as my heart stopped dead in my chest from fear, "What department do you work in?"
For a moment I was too stunned and scared to answer as I stared back at the Quinn brothers. Sebastian slowly raised an eyebrow at my quietness before I finally found the ability to use my mouth again, "I-I work for Emerald City Architect," I answered truthfully.
"What?" Tobias muttered looking and sounding more confused then he had before, "You're not working at La Petals anymore? When the hell did you start working at ECA?"
"I just got hired a few days ago, so I quit La Petals. This is my first day for Emerald City." I answered honestly. Tobias just stared at me as I gazed back at him in silence. Was all this real? Was I really standing in front of the Quinn brothers? Is this their building... or were they just here for a business meeting?
Before any more questions could race through my mind, Sebastion softly cleared his throat breaking the silence between us causing me to snap my eyes away from his brother.
"And what floor would Emerald City Architect be on?" Sebastian asked now sounding bored as he opened one of the filing folders in his hand, his eyes quickly scanned over whatever was in there before quickly closing it and looking at me for my answer.
"Uh, twenty four sir." I quickly answered.
"Well, that answers that," Sebastian stated plainly as he walked into the elevator with me causing myself to step back a few steps, trying putting as much space between us as possible. Tobias stood in place as if his shoes were made out of concrete as he stared at me and Sebastian as if we had just escaped from the crazy house.
I dragged my eyes to Tobias's eyes while he stared back at me with so many emotions playing across that beautiful battlefield of blue and green as his face began to soften slightly.
