After hours of silence, the corpses had all passed. We opened up one window on each side of the building to look, and there seemed to be no stragglers. All of the boards were taken down, and people were sent back to do their jobs. I was working on organising the food and water when Roland came up to me.

"Hey, Travis wants to talk to us," he said, urgency in his voice.

"About what?"

"Well, Melody is making a big deal out of this."

I followed him over to the back where Melody and Travis seemed to be having it out. Travis's fists were balled, and Melody's hands appeared to be glued to her hips.

"Adira, talk some sense into this girl!" Travis exclaimed. "She's saying we need to leave this place."

"We do. There is nothing to stop the corpses from coming through here again, and next time we might not be as lucky." Her eyes had narrowed to slits.

"She does have a point, ya know," I said, and Travis groaned.

"Where would we go?" he demanded.

"Up into the mountains. The rougher terrain should help to keep them away, and if we're elevated it will be harder for corpses to get to us if they want to in the first place." Melody had a triumphant look on her face.

"When would we go? I think it's a good idea." Roland raised an eyebrow.

"Fine then. Let's get packing, we'll just go now." Travis said, with a face of utter defeat.
