As a kid, I've dreamt of my future
I was an artist
I lived near woods
I had my own family
I loved and was loved
Happy
But then I woke up
I got older
I changed
Life hit me
Beaten me
I couldn't see my future
I didn't make it
I failed
I was alone
I was numb
I didn't feel
I was lost
I was awake, it was hard to sleep
Life was blank
It was meaningless
But then I met you my love
You fixed me
I wasn't alone anymore
I wasn't sad or numb
I am happy
You've kissed my scars
I look forward to a new day with you
I dream of a future
A future with you
I'm a writer or maybe a publisher
We live far enough away from people but still are connected
We are together
I love you and you love me
We're happy
Then I wake up
I wake up to another day with you
Another day closer to fulfilling my dream with you!
The original picture was not mine but
I edited it so that was my finally product, the whole "poem" was mine. I meant to write a song but this came out. It has a piece of how I feel in it. And in the end of how much I need my real love. I don't think he'll read it but I love him and can't live with him. I hope he knows that.
