Ashley's POV
"Ashley darling we are your parents"
I look at both of them. My so called father looks like Benson's twin. He was the one I saw before I blanked out in Chase's arms.
"He is the betrayer one. He killed my wife and two days old child. He stole our fathers money."
I turn my gaze to my so called mother. She has the same color of eyes like mine. She looks so innocent.
"Your mother was helping him motivating him to do all that and he did."
Suddenly I was engulfed with a warm hug I wish to stay in as long as I want.
"We missed you Ashley." once I heard her voice. I look at were I thought she was standing and shes not there.
I hold her shoulders and pushed a back with all the power I got. Making her stumble in surprise and almost fall but her husband caught her. She looked at me in surprise while I glare at her with tears falling down my eyes.
As much as I love that hug, but I don't want to be like them: heartless.
"I hate you guys!!!" I shouted and looked around me. To see Ace, Mason, Chase, guys with black suit and Michelle looking at me in surprise. Michelle looked at me as if I have grown two heads.
I ran up the stairs and shut my door with so much force and locked it. I let the tears fall.
I really want a moms hug all this years and I finally got it but from a woman I wish I didn't call my mother I wish they just told me that I don't belong to that family.
And the warse part my father looks exactly like uncle Benson witch scares the hell out of me. What if his ghost entered that body to keep on abusing me?
Why does my smile and happiness don't last? Do I deserve all this?
I need a break from all this. I think I should just leave this town. But what about school I need to finish school my education to be free from all this.
I was cut off my thoughts with a knock at my back which is resting on the door.
"Go away. I don't want you guys. Am fine without parents just go?" I yell not even thinking.
"Ashley its me Michelle." I think thats the person I need right now. I stood up and opened the door but my face whipped to the side from a hot slap. So much surprises today.
"As much as I miss you but thats what you deserve right now. Have you seen what you have done to the poor woman that loves her daughter? What demons got inside you at 12:00 a.m today?"
I just ignored her and open the door wide for her to come in. I also miss her so much.
"That woman actually your mother is crying down stairs like when the water is coming out of the tap. I thought you always wanted to meet them. I thought it willed be your best surprise ever."
"But it turned out to be my worst surprise ever." I said sitting on the bed.
"I know you Ashley, you would never do anything without a specific good reason. So now pop the balloon. I desperately need to know." she sits next to me on the bed.
Without arguing I told her everything. From how I reached the hospital and asked her why didn't she visit me. Which she said while crying:
"I wanted to but Chase said that if I get all the notes for school for you I will see you. Which my lady you have so much notes. So I had no choice coz you know when you reject Chase gives the cold glare."
I told her who kidnapped me from the hospital and how I was kidnapped which made her gasp. I told her everything Benson told me about my so called parents. Thats where I ended.
"What if he was lying?" that made me froze and numb on the bed. "What if he said that to make you and your parents to have a bad relationship?" she continues
"Than why would he do all those things to me!" I asked letting the tears fall.
"Thats not the point right now. Plus he abuses you. How can you believe a person that abuses you over your parents that you have never met." she said.
She is right. How can I be so dumb to believe a person who hates me with passion.
"I think you should ask them question before you move to conclusion."
"Then why did they left me the time I need them the most."
"Thats must be one of the question you should ask them" I nod.
"What is Chase doing?"I ask.
"His trying to do anything to smooth your mother."
"Really?" I asked surprise.
"Yeah I know so shock I even had to blink five times to see maybe my imagination is playing a trick on me. Chase is not the kind to smooth someone or even saying sweet words"
"I know." I cover my face.
"What's wrong." Michelle asked concerned.
"I don't know how to approach them now. From the mess I just created."
"Just walk with confident and first apologize for your outburst. Then tell them you want to talk to them somewhere alone? I guess."
"Okay I will try. Thanks. Your such a good friend and a life saver I will surely pay you back." I said and hugged her.
"I have to go before you know, its too late. Coz I won't lie to you. I really need a mothers hug now." I said and left the room with Michelle by my side.
I spotted them and its true Chase is actually soothing them.
