Chapter 15

Jade's P.O.V

Today's the day I have to go to my ultrasound but Luke doesn't come back until Friday so I have to ask Parker to come with me.

"Hey are you ready to go?" Parker asks handing me my coat.

"Yeah I'm a little nervous."

"Don't be you'll be fine. Have you told Luke yet?"

"No."

"Jade! Why not!"

"Because every time I'm about to bring it up I get nervous or he ends up having to get off the phone."

"So when are you going to tell him?"

"I guess on Friday."

"Okay. Well let's go before you miss your appointment.

We drove down to the doctors office and I sign in. I only had to wait 30 minutes until I went in.

"Do you want me to go with you?" Parker asks.

"Will you?"

"Of course."

We both walked back and were greeted by a female doctor.

"Hello girls!"

"Hi!" we both say.

"So whose the mommy to be?"

"That would be me." I say raising my hand.

"Okay well can you have a seat here?"

I get on the bed and pull my shirt up.

"Okay this might be cold." she says rubbing the jelly looking stuff on my stomach.

She then started the ultrasound.

"Okay if you look at the screen you can see the little head and here's it's arms and legs." she says pointing to each body part.

"Awe it's so cute Jade." Parker says.

"Are you able to see what it is yet?"

"I can't quite tell you'll have to come again later when your further into the pregnancy and then I'll be able to tell."

"Okay will I be able to get some pictures of the sonogram so I can show my boyfriend?"

"Of course."

"Okay good."

"You can come again in 1-2 months for another ultrasound."

"Okay thank you."

Me and Parker drove back to my house and were greeted with a bunch of questions from my annoying foster mom.

"Hey so how was it?"

"Good."

"What did they tell you?"

"I'm pregnant."

"Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?"

"No Judy! Can Parker and I go up to my room please?" I say annoyed.

"Yes I'll go make something for you guys to eat."

"Thanks Jade's Mom!" Parker says.

We walk up to my room and put on some TV.

"Parker how many times do I have to say she's not my mom you can call her Judy."

"Sorry." she laughs.
