Chapter 16

Luke's P.O.V

So yesterday was our last show until the North American tour, so that means I'm on my way home.

As soon as we land I drive straight home, then I run over to Jade's house and knock on the door.

Judy answers. "Oh hello dear Jade's up in her room."

"Okay thanks."

"Before you go up there I wanted to tell you congratulations! I bet your really excited."

"Yeah I've been wanting this my entire life."

"Well I want you to know that me and Bob are here for you and Jade if you need help okay."

"Wait what?"

"Oh did Jade not tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"Well I don't want to spoil anything you better go ask her."

I run upstairs and Jade is laying on her bed listening to music. I tap her shoulder to let her know I was there.

"Oh Luke you scared me." she says jumping up and then hugging me.

"Jade is there something you need to tell me?"

"Why would I need to tell you something."

"Because Judy was down there talking about helping us with something. What do we need help with?"

She doesn't answer she just walks over to her desk and pulls out an envelope from under a stack of papers and hands it to me.

"This." she says looking down.

I look at her with confusion then I open the envelope and what I see shocks me.

"Is this what I think this is?"

"Are you mad?"

"Is this ours."

She shakes her head yes, and I am overjoyed.

"Jade why would I be mad?"

"Because you just began your career and I don't want you to stop because I'm pregnant." she says starting to cry.

"Listen we will figure this out together you don't have to worry about it. When are you due?"

"January."

"Well I'll be all done with tour and I'll be home for the arrival of our baby."

"Are you sure your not upset?" she says looking down.

"Positive!"

She smiles and we both lay on the bed and cuddle. I can't believe I'm going to be a father I didn't think it would happen so soon but I'm still happy about it.
