Chapter 27

Jade's P.O.V

"Amber's going to be so surprised when she gets home."

"I know I can't wait to see her. I missed you guys so much." Luke says.

It was about 20 minutes until I heard the door open.

"Mom?" I hear Amber yell.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I yell back.

"What do you have to surprise me with that you pulled me aw- Dad!" She says running and hugging him.

"Hey sweetie!"

While they were having there moment I smell something familiar.

"Amber can you come here please." She walks over and I smell her.

"What are you doing?"

"I should be asking you the same question." I say folding my arms and looking her dead in the eyes.

"I don't know what your talking about."

"What's wrong." Luke says.

"Smell your daughter."

Luke smells her and says "I don't smell anything."

"Really cause I do and what I smell is weed."

"Mom why don't you trust me I didn't do anything wrong." She says storming out.

"Oh really and you just happen to smell like weed."

"Oh my gosh why do you do this!"

"All I want to know is why you smell like weed that's all why can't you answer that." I say.

"How do you know it's even weed! Huh! I bet you don't even know what weed smells like!"

Me and Luke look at each other and laugh. "Oh Hunny you have no idea."
