Chapter 24

Parker's P.O.V

I'm getting really nervous Jade was suppose to be home two hours ago and she's not back yet. I really hope she didn't do anything stupid. Why did I suggest this.

"Aunt Parker?" Amber says tapping my leg.

"Yes darling?"

"Where's my mommy? She usually reads me a story before bed."

"Um... she will be home soon okay if you want I could read you a story."

"Okay!"

"Lay down and I'll be in."

"Okay." She says running back to her room.

I don't know what to do so I decide to call Luke.

"Hey Parker what's up!" Luke says.

"Oh nothing how about you?"

"Nothing just driving home."

"What!" I say in a panic.

"What's wrong you sound upset that I'm coming home. Don't you miss me." He says with a laugh.

"No it's not that.", I don't want Luke being mad at me for suggesting Jade to go out but he needs to know, "It's just I kind of don't know where Jade is."

"What do you mean you don't know where Jade is?"

"Okay I kind of told her she should go out and I would watch Amber cause she was very stressed and she went to the club and hasn't come home yet."

"You let her go to the club."

"Yeah."

"Parker! Jade only goes to the club to drink!"

"Well how was I suppose to know that!" I yell.

"Listen it's okay I know where she is."

"You do." I say in relief.

"Yes if you don't mind watching Amber a little longer, I'll go get her."

"I don't mind."

"Okay I'll see you later." He says and we both hang up.

I just hope she's okay.
