We were at Inaaya's house . Yeah after that emotinal breakdown of her I remained silent knowing there's no point in dragging the matter further.
She is as stubborn as I am , and making her realize that I was sorry for my mistakes is altogether a difficilt task.

Despite of our constant pleads that, Inaaya has her exams and I am also busy with my buissness tours our parents didn't even acknowledged our excuses . They fixed our engagement dates along with wedding , though wedding was after a month .

I sighed , its impossible to convince them so I thought its best that we keep our mouth shut and gave a knowing look to Inaaya she actually understood what I meant to say.

Our old ways to communicate with each other . We were perfect toghether.
I forced my mind to stop thinking this rubbish and concentrate on present.

After one week our engagement was fixed. My mother was going all mad about shopping stuffs . She insisted on buying the most beautiful rings for engagement and ordered me to take Inaaya with us.
At first she was going to come with me but suddenly she was not feeling well she said that I have to take Inaaya all by myself and buy her whatever she wants.

I hesitated , we are not on talking terms I sometimes wish if  I could make my parents understand our terms and conditions but it's impossible.

Shutting my thoughts I called Inaaya to inform her about the arrangement. I just wish that she is busy so that mom would just drop the idea of taking her along.

But nah that girl always manages to get on my nerves. She politely replied that she was free in the afternoon and as if  this was not enough mom literally made me keep my phone on speaker so that I won't make another excuse.

I wasn't in a mood to talk with her and knowing that I have to spend the whole evening just to buy our fake engagement rings was not helping either.

I picked her up from her college and we drove off. She was silent the whole time not even sparing a glance towards my side. I hate her sometimes what the hell is wrong with her atleast she could try to initiate a conversation but no her big ego comes in between.
Anyways I ain't also dying to talk with her.

We went to the mall and looked for jewellery section . I was least interested in these stuffs but I gave word to mom so I need to look a bit interested.

The lady nooded at us with a smile and asked what can she do for us.
I instantly replied that we came here to buy our engagement rings upon hearing those words Inaaya looked at me with amusement . Sure she must be thinking I have lost my mind but right now who cares.

She started showing us different diamond rings. There was a couple ring it took her attention , it was  indeed beautiful their was one diamond on top of both rings and in the  inner side of rings it was written forever yours.

She asked me whether it was good or not I was bewildered at first but then I nooded my head in approval . She smiled their was happiness on her face.

Atleast she smiled thank Allah for that.
I paid the bill and asked her if she want anything else. She refused and we were about to leave when I heard someone calling her .

We both turned around and found Kabir.  He had feelings for Inaaya since college times and Inaaya didn't knew about so they both ended up being friends . It was not a problem untill I once saw him taking random pictures of Inaaya secretly . I warned him and made him delete all those pictures and with that college ended so I didn't know that whether he has feelings for her or not now. Instantly I clenched my fist. What the jahannum is he doing here.
Before we could leave he stood in front of us. I really want to punch him.

" Asalamuallikum Inaaya, it's been a while since we met".  Kabir greeted Inaaya with a mischievous look .

" Walekumasalam I am surprised to see you here . By the way what are you doing here?". I replied before Inaaya could say anything and gave him a pointed look.

"Sorry I didn't noticed you Izhar.  I just came with my sister to buy her a wedding and saw both of you . Inaaya you have grown more beautiful than what you were."
He said while his eyes never leaving her.

" Thank you , where's your sister come with us to our home mom would be pleased to meet you ".

Inaaya said with a sweet smile. She never smiles for me ugh I hate kabir so much why is he here in the first place.

" Actually right now my whole family is busy with my sister's wedding but surely I will come after her wedding.  Now I think that I also should settle down , get a perfect wife just like you ".

He was clearly flirting with her in front of me . She is my soon to be wife before Inaaya could reply I grabbed her hand and said , " Love let's go we are already getting late zara must be waiting for us you know she can't live away from her mommy and daddy for long time".

She gave me a look as if I have grown two heads . Kabir was also shocked.

"You two are married since when and who's zara "?.

He asked in disbelief.  Not giving Inaaya a chance to say something I instantly replied , " Yes we both are married since last two years and we have a lovely daughter zara".

"Now if you can excuse us we are getting late and please spare some time and come to our home . Zara would be pleased to meet her uncle". I gave him a mocking smile and dragged Inaaya towards the exit.

" What the hell was that Izhar,  why did you lied to him ha".
Oops I forgot now my main exam starts . I frowned.

"He was flirting with you can't you see that . The way he was looking at you I swear I was going to punch him ".
 
She seemed to be in a deep thought then she suddenly spoke , "  So what , were you jealous ?".

I froze , now what to say. Was I getting jealous nah I was just protecting her . Yup definately.

"Don't fill your head with such  nonsense I was just protecting you okay ".
I replied arrogantly to mask my true feelings but this girl doesn't stop.

"So what was the need to protect me huh you actually care for me ?".
She asked .

I completely ignored her not knowing how to answer her question and with that we headed to our repective homes.
