Chapter 2 : There is a reason why you are here
That voice sounded familiar. We turned back to see who it was. It was none other than my uncle who gave me the job in The National Laboratory. He is a scientist who is working on some dangerous but useful prototype. I remember that he informed me about the advantages and disadvantages of this prototype. But me as usual was very bored and I barely listened to it, now I don't even know what it is made for.
Dr. Brown shouted, "Did you not understand what I said?"
I was confused and I said," Umm sorry what is the problem doctor?" . Well I have to call him 'Doctor' when I am here in this building, I am not allowed to call him uncle here. He used to get annoyed in the past when I called him uncle during our work times.
Dr. Brown," I said I didn't bring you both for honeymoon here, I only brought you both to work here."
I was really annoyed with what he said. So before I can ask him what is wrong April pulls me close to doctor and begins to ask him, " What happened dad?"
Well yes, April Brown is the daughter of Dr. Benjamin Brown, my uncle.
Dr. Brown replied her," Do not call me dad when we are at work, how many times should I tell you this."
April murmured," Ya, as if nobody knows you're my dad".
Dr Brown," I can't hear you".
April asked ," Ok doctor, why did you get angry at us?"
I was also wondering why he got angry at us, then I realized what was the problem that was making him angry.
I pulled April close to me and whispered in her ears," You idiot, you're holding my hand. You know he hates us being so close".
April realizes what I said and leaves my hand instantaneously.
Dr. Brown comes close to me and warns me," Listen Eric, if I see you hanging around close to her again, I will throw you out of this job, and this time is the last time."
Well Dr. Brown hates me and April hanging out together, because of the worst history I created with him.
[FLASHBACK...]
On the very next day of my first job, I wanted to ask April out. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Thing is I never knew Dr. Brown had a daughter, because he never spoke about it when he visits our home. The reason why he never talks about his daughter is because her mother is Dr.Browns secret love in his young age. All though he was married to a sweet woman, he only loved April's mother a lot more than his wife.
So before I knew all this I only knew one thing, which is April was engaged to some idiot. I really hated to know that, I just wanted her to be mine and only mine. So I go to her confidently to ask her out so that she doesn't marry her idiotic fiance who I don't even know how he looks like .
She was standing next to this round steel ball with lots of buttons on top of it, and she was beautiful as usual. I had to see if nobody else was standing next to her. After I got to know the area was clear, I go to her to ask her out.
"Hey April, hi listen..." before I could complete April asks me a question, " Hey Eric dude, look there is something I need you to know, something that can screw us up, but I really do need this help from you. Will you help me?"
Without thinking about the consequences that can lead to the help she wanted I replied,"Yes, umm what is it?"
"Look dude, umm I hate my fiance, he is so boring, always keeps talking about what he achieved in his life. And ya there are lots of things which are so daaaaaamnn annoying."
