Flap. Flap. Flap....

No..... Not now. Not tonight. Not here!

I'm on the dirt road on my way to the lake house. No! It's a flat tire and I am not sure how much further I need to go to get there. I'm past the halfway point. That I am sure of.
What to do now?
Check the spare? Yes! Ok, that was a bust. Flat too. How did I not check that? Maybe because I was to focused on tonight than to remember something I always do before I go far. Shoot!
Phone! Yes! Thank you, thank you. 93% charged! Wait! What! NOOO! No bars. No service!
Wait. What is that sound?
"Hello?"
I can hear the sound of people laughing and music.
The lake house must be close by. I switch the cars lights off. Yes! I see it. Lights to the front and right, thru the trees. It's not that far. I lock up my car and place the keys in my basket. Seems like Red did not need pockets.
I'm just out of eye shot of my car when I hear a car coming down the road with the sound of tires kicking up pebbles on the turn.
I step onto the road and wave my arms above my head. The car, or I must say, truck, comes barreling down the road with no lights on. How can anyone see in this dark night? The moon is full, but still. The road is under cover of trees. Suddenly I am blinded by the trucks lights and it comes to an abrupt stop, not 5 feet from me. I take a step back.
"Well hello there." A male voice says from behind the bright light. "What do we have here?"
The driver side door opens and a rugged looking man steps into the light. The passenger door also opens and another man answers. "Looks like a little Red to me Chuck."
