"Liam, wait outside until I call you. Do you understand?" Jeremiah asked with a stern voice. "You do not come in, peek or listen into that room until I call you. Do we have a understanding, son?"
"Yes, sir. I understand."
"Good. Here comes Heather. Not a word."
Heather comes skipping through the hospital door, a happy smile on her face. She agreed to make a few rounds at all the patients today. If she is on good behavior, she can get her phone back today and then she will not have to wait for it till the end of the month.
"Hello daddy! Hi Liam, are you visiting to?"
"Yeah, in a bit. I just wanted to talk to your dad. I think I will be back in a few." I watch them enter the first door and catch Heather's cheerful voice greeting the first patient. I turn around and leave the hospital to sit in the garden under a tree.

"Bye for now, I'll come back tomorrow." Heather says to the twins that had their tonsils removed. "Thank you, daddy. I needed today. I do understand why you took my phone away now. I want to be a doctor. A pack doctor. I want to be able to help, but I need to bring my grades up. I want to help take the pain away from every day stuff, like the twins. The doctor is so busy, he needs help. We need more pack doctors, maybe not just here, but at the other subs to. What do you think?"
"I think it is a very noble idea. Let's talk it over tonight and see what you need to do to become a doctor." I steer her to the last door to the right, skipping the one on the left. She pulls up short and looks at the door. "Come on, we still got this one."

As we leave, I steer her past the door again, but this time, she turns around and walks to the door.
"Daddy, who is in here?"
"No one. Why?"
"I feel strange."
"What do you mean, baby girl?"
"It's like something is calling me..."
Before I can stop her, she opens the door and goes in.
"DADDY!" The panic in her voice has me rushing into the room. Dave nodded his head and left to stand outside. Heather's hands flutter like butterflies all over the girl on the bed.
"How...? " she starts, tears streaming down her face.
"Do you know her?"
"No, I don't think so. My heart aches for her. More than it did for the twins."
"Maybe that is because she is in more pain than they are?"
"Yes, maybe. It can be. I don't know. My wolf does not agree. She... she feels like ripping someone's throat out, and...and gross. Never mind."
"And what, baby girl?"
"No, daddy, that's not nice. It's just, ..." she shakes her head and a ripple of disgust goes down her spine.
"It's okay, baby girl, you can tell me. Remember that I am a warrior first."
She takes a deep breath, looks down at her hands and continues. "Okay, and...and eat their eyes out and peeing in their eye sockets. Gross." Another ripple goes down her spine.
A soft laugh rumbles out of my throat. "Remind me not to piss of your wolf. You are just like your mother. She said the same thing once."
"Philippa, Liam, Jeremy. Come to our little reds room. I think I have solved this puzzle."

Liam is the first to enter the room. He walks straight to his mate, putting his hand on her wrist. The tension in his shoulders evaporate like mist in bright light. He looks up at us and a little smile forms. Jeremy follows Philippa through the door, not long after.

"Heather, please tell your mother, what you told me, about your wolf. Don't worry. There is a reason why I am asking." Jeremiah nods to us.
"Okay, my wolf, after seeing her," she points at red, "she felt like ripping someone's throat out...and then eat their eyes out and peeing in their eye sockets." she looks apologetic at her mother.
Philippa just looks at her. Then she turns to me.
"That is what I told you when my baby sister was injured, all those years ago."
I nod my head. "This pull, this feelings. Is it the same feelings you had with you sister?"
Philippa sucks in her breath. "YES! But you know she disappeared." She started to cry.
I wrap her in my arms. "I know. I think that this young lady is her daughter."
