I wish I'd held you more
I wish I'd stopped to notice you more
I missed out on so much
And it's all my fault
I was the one that was ignorant
I was the one that was inattentive
I was the one that abandoned you
I did it when you needed me most
And I can't take that back
The memories you've left
Will never be thrown away
I will hold and cherish them forever
