Haunted House

Reader's POV
After what felt like hours of playing in the beach, we all decided to head over to the Haunted House that Masamune was talking about earlier. As we approached the ominous, shady building, I saw the look of fear on everyone. Esspecially Kojuro and Ali, who I knew didn't have the stomach for scary things. While Masamune seemed to have kept his cool, Me and Yoshino could tell he was screaming inside. I sighed a shaky breath as my grip on Yoshino's hand grew slightly tighter, immediently catching Yoshino's attention.

Yoshino: what's wrong?
(YN): just... I'm sort of a... Huge wuss. Scary things like this aren't really my thing
Yoshino: oh

Nodding, Yoshino brought out her phone and gestured for me to take out my own.

(YN): I don't think we can Video chat in the mansion. Wouldn't that ruin the experienc-
Yoshino: Its not for video chatting. Its so that when you get to scared, I can go to you and walk you through
Neko: Awe~ How sweet!

I jumped slightly and looked over at the group, who just watched our little support thing going on. Well, Aki was trying to get her flash light working in a panic.

Once everything was settled, we got ourselves ready to head into the mansion with an order.

2nd. Kojuro
3rd. Futaba
4th. Aki
5th. (YN)
6th. Neko
7th. Masamune

I sighed and continued to watch the mansion in dread as Yoshino walked in, seemingly unfazed by the atmosphere.

She's awesome.

I sat down and waited the five minute mark for everyone. After Aki hesitently went, I gripped my flashlight and walked through the hall. Apperently this house was a maze. An unstable one. The floors crecked at several steps and caused me to grow goose bumps as my light kept flickering.

(YN): S-Shit! Ugh. Maybe I could use my phone...

I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight and everything was slightly easier to see. I heard several footsteps coming from ahead of me and shined my light ahead, seeing Aki herself seemingly hugging herself as she walked. Once she noticed my light, she turned back and her eyes lit up in relief as she raced over.

Aki: T-Thank goodness! AGH, I feel like I'm dying.. L-Lets just get out of here..
(YN): Do you know the way out?
Aki: U-Uh...no..

Alright, Perfect. On the bright side, I'm not alone now. Aki stayed close to me as I shinned my phone through the halls, lightening up the area around us.

Masamune's POV
I overheard screaming in the distance and instantly recognized it as someone who originally wasn't in our group of seven. I looked around with my flash light, keeping a vigilant eye on anything that seemed off.

I tensed up at a distant scream again and turned around to hear rapid footsteps coming straight for me. I panicked and used the flashlight for vision and saw Ms. Yui running towards me with a scary mask, screaming in fear. I froze up from sudden shock and she bumped into me, knocking herself out as she fell back. I groaned in pain as I rubbed my head, looking over and saw that it was infact Ms. Yui with a mask. What was she doing here?

Masamune: M-Ms. Yui? Are you alright?

I shook her shoulder gently and she didn't wake up. I took off her mask and saw that she was out cold...

What happened? Why was she here? Was she trying to hype up the Haunted house so we can all have a good time?

Maybe. All I knew was that I couldn't just leave her here. I sighed to myself and hoped that she wasn't to heavy.

Aki's POV
After Neko finally got out, we just had to wait for Masamune. That idiot honestly did take forever just to get passed it. No doubt he was so scared, he was just hiding in a corner!

Hah. Little... narcissist.

Aki: Whats taking that Moron so long?
Neko: Maybe he's lost. I didn't see him while I made my way
(YN): He said that he will be here in a moment
Neko: When?
(YN): I just got a text from him

I sighed and eventually realized... i didnt have Masamune's phone number. I dont even think I really have (YN)'s either. I took out my phone and checked the battery, seeing that it was dying.

This will have to be fast.

I groaned and quickly looked at my contacts, immdeiently noticing that I only had Yoshino's number...

My phone died and left me in shock as I stared at the blank screen.

Aki: Yoshino?

I looked around and couldn't find Yoshino. Where could she be?!

(YN): I think she's still in the ho-
Yoshino: I'm here
(YN):.. GAH!!

(YN) suddenly jumped back and bumped into Kojuro. I paced to Yoshino and took her phone as she helped the boys get up. She had (YN), Me, Masamune, Kojuro, and Futaba as contacts!

How?!

Aki: Ugh!
Kojuro: yes, Miss Aki?
Aki: N-Nothing! We can talk about it later!

I sighed and gave Yoshino her phone back as Masamune's grunts could be heard from the mansion. We all looked over and saw Masamune was carrying Ms. Yui on his back

Aki: Masamune, what are you doing with Ms. Yui?!
Masamune: I don't know why she's here. Lets just get to the pent house to calm down.
Aki: If you drop Ms. Yui, I'm breaking your legs!
Masamune: Yea Yea
