Her eyes were a dark opal, skin olive, and long auburn hair cascaded over her glowing form. She looked rather Arabic or Indian with her urban complexion.
Jin felt his features morph from shock to confusion, and then to utter horror as she quickly stood up from her seat, back abruptly turned to them and headed out of the bus.
Seraphina gaped, dumbfounded, while Hoseok acted quick, charging through the isles and following after her.
Jin shook himself out of his daze and did the same, motioning Seraphina to follow with the flick of his hand.
The freezing air greeted them as they stepped off the platform, eyes frantically scanning through the crowds of people fighting to get in or out of the bus.
Jin's eyes focused in through the blue and red auras coveries bodies of people for that of a pure white.
He didn't wait for the other's as he caught sight of the glimmering pearl among the sea of blues, breath heaving in and out as pushed passed the locks of people.
"Jin?", Seraphina called out.
"This way", he mumbled, not thinking if they had heard him or not.
He could see her auburn hair among the group about to cross the streets. Jin hurried down the sidewalk flanked with busy on-goers, wondering why she was keen on escaping them.
That brief moment when her eyes had met theirs, Jin had witnessed remorse, fear, and anger flash all at once across her irises before she had made a hasty retreat.
"Wait", Jin called out, now near earshot.
Her pace broke into a sprint down the road even before the stoplights had cued the sign for walkers. She was Jay-walking.
The air filled with screeches of both angry pedestrians and vehicles honking.
Jin's hands reached her shoulders just in time, grasping her trench-coat and pulling her away from the passing truck.
He breathed out in relief, but she scowled at him, hands fidgeting to break free. "Wait!", Jin exclaimed. "You-"
"Look, you've already done much damage by releasing the antipodean. Leave me alone. Our paths are different, and I would not like anything to do with any of the others." Her accent was thick, but each word slapped him the face hard. Her dark eyebrows furrowed as she shoved him away, wings clearly shaping her aura. "Leave me alone!"
"But-"
The woman sighed, shaking her head, and reaching out to him. He stood frozen, not sure what she was going to do until it was too late.
Jin felt the cold seep up his face as his cap fell down, exposing it for the world to see. As his hands sprang out to catch it as it touched the ground, he glanced up to see her gone. Her words still rang in ears, similar to what he had heard both Seraphina and Hoseok.
Jin wondered how many more angry angels he would come across, that were furious with him for something even he didn't know how or why he did.
He shoved the cap back over his head in frustration, breathing out a sigh of exasperation, watching his breath exhale into the frozen air.
Hoseok finally got to him with Seraphina in tow and his hands grasping his knees as his tinted face calmed down from the run.
"Where'd she go?", Seraphina scanned the area.
Jin shook his head in defeat. "She left. I don't think she wanted anything to do with us."
Seraphina scowled, a pout forming her lips as she crossed her arms.
