EMERGENCY!

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! AN EMERGENCY HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE BUILDING! CEASE ALL ACTIVITIES AND EXIT UTILIZING THE EXIT OR THE FIRE EXIT STAIRWELLS! DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS! I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!

Wario's POV:

Geez, a fire drill already? Oh well, it is what it is, and it's stupid, let's go... then suddenly, almost everyone panics, except for me, Bowser, the teacher, and Mario, so then I listen again and hear it:

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

I start to panic too, and I can't stop myself! A REAL FIRE! COME ON, wouldn't you panic too? On the first day of school too!!! Then, some of us, including me, start to cough. Smoke started to fill the room. Then, sirens blare, signaling the Firetruck coming to rescue us. This was the real deal! Then Someone opens the door, but I can't see who it is, due to the smoke. Man, I feel bad for Waluigi, he's so tall, his head is where all the smoke is... Then, Bowser, Mario, & Luigi begin to army crawl out of the room, all prone and Army-style, telling us to do the same, and everyone follows them, panicked. Hey, there isn't as much smoke down near the floor! Maybe they aren't as stupid as I thought... We all soon make it to the stairs and dash down them. Then, a pair of faint voices weakly calls out: "H-help..." "Someo-*cough* *cough* please..." Then Yoshi, Bowser, Mario, and Luigi ( In that order ) rush back to help them. Welp, *cough* sucks for them! I still have a heart, but my mind is bigger, (...What? You think I'm careless and stupid?) and it's tellin' me; "GET OUT!

 And so I do because I'm already half-dead myself.

Luigi's POV:

What am I doing? What am I doing!? WHAT AM I-A DOING?!? I'm-a probably crazy, but as soon as I heard someone call for help, I immediately empathize, build up my courage, and go back. I can't-a leave them behind! What-a if that was-a me? I would've wanted some-a help, too! When I'm-a going up, I see Wario doing what I was about to do. Leaving them behind. For once, I'm-a not the coward everyone thinks I am! Not-a me! Not a time to celebrate though, Luigi! When we reach the voice, we see that it's Rosalina and Diddy, trapped under a big fallen piece of the ceiling. Bowser then lifts it with seemingly no effort, allowing us to pull them away before he carefully sets it down with ease, taking each of them over one of his shoulders.

Hey, sometimes being big, strong, and... Scary, like him can be useful sometimes!

Anyways, we then make it to the emergency escape window, and I unlatch it and push through it, dropping down a few feet, landing barely without falling flat on my face. I'm ok! I'm actually ok after a real fire! Well, other than some minor smoke and soot in my lungs... Then everyone else drops down, escaping as well. All the other staff was out as well, thankfully. Moments after, Bowser lays Diddy and Rosalina in the grass. Everyone stares at their lifeless bodies, eyes full of fear.

Mario's POV:

Are they-a ok? I-a hope so... I look over at the... 6 Firetrucks spraying the fire with long streams of water in an attempt to put it out, a 7th coming just behind, and an Ambulance right-a behind it. Diddy and Rosalina lay there lifeless on the grass, not-a moving. Suddenly, Diddy sits up in a coughing fit, startling some of us. But... Rosalina was still laying-a down, as motionless as a statue. Then, the ambulance pulls right beside us, and doctors pour out, placing them both in stretchers. Luigi was looking in the same direction, and his troubled gaze soon met with mine. I put my arm around his shoulder, and wait for his reaction, and, thankfully, he put his around mine. Then, he says something so quietly that I almost can't hear it. "I'm-a sorry, big bro" And I whisper back. "Me-a too." And there we were, side hugging, watching Rosalina and Diddy getting carried away in the ambulance car, and the Firetrucks putting the fire out.
