Bowser's POV:

Oh hey, I didn't see ya' there! Huh? I'm acting weird? I mean, yeah, I've been in a good recently, if that's what you mean! It's just... Helping the others, that felt kinda...

Good...

Maybe I've been doing something wrong my whole life...

Just then, a small yelp snaps me out of my thoughts. I turn around and see Luigi on the ground because he tripped and fell. I go down to help him. He starts to say thanks. "T...T-than-..-!!!" Then he realizes it's me and starts to tremble. I try to calm him down. "Uh, hey. It's fine!" I place my hand on his shoulder, but then he shrieks, snatches his stuff away, then runs away to math... I hope he's ok... I really do...

Luigi's POV:

I'm running down the hall, dashing to math as quickly as possible, when I bump into Mario. He looks at me, up and down, asking:

Mario: "What happened?"

Luigi: ...

Mario: Come on, bro. You can-a tell me! I'm-a your bro!

Luigi: Buh... Buh...

Mario: 'Buh'?

I then realize Bowser looking at me, a worried expression on his face. When he sees me looking, he looks away. I instantly feel bad for him, and start beating myself up mentally. 'Come on, right when he, the person who was literally one of your BIGGEST FEARS, was being-a nice to you and-a helping, you-a freakout! Don't-a rat him out!'

Mario: Well?

Luigi: I'm fine.

Mario: Come on, broth-

Luigi: I'M-A FINE, MARIO! I DON'T-A NEED YOU TO BABY ME EVERYWHERE I-A GO, LIKE I'M JUST A PLAYER TWO!!!

I instantly regret it. Now Mario'll be more suspicious of me, and I couldn't bear to look at the shock and disappointment on his face or his silence. When Mario's silent, it's never a good sign. "Sorry..." I apologize, but when I look up, he's already walking away...

Saying nothing.

I enter math, my head hanging lower than ever before. I-a hope Mr. Chuck doesn't notice...

Mario's POV:

I... I-a don't know what to say... After Luigi's-a outburst... I know he said sorry but I didn't return it, and I don't-a know why. I never-a knew he felt that-a way... I see him enter the class, his head hanging lower than ever. He looks at me with a sorry expression, then back at the floor, causing me to, too, feeling worse than I ever have. Our teacher, Mr. Chuck, arranges us in our seats. To my relief, Luigi and I are put right next to each other. Now's my-a chance!

Mario: "Luigi..."

Luigi: ...

Mario: Luigi, I'm-a so sorry...

Luigi: Are you?

Mario: Of course! I'm-a your bro! I love you so-a much! I didn't-a mean to hurt your feelings! I-a never did!

Mr. Chuck then shushes us, preventing any further conversation, leaving me feeling like the worst person in the world.

Rosalina's POV:

I look at the two brothers, witnessing what happened. I feel bad for them, and Bowser too. Luigi just snapped, but it wasn't either of their faults. Bowser was just trying to help, and Luigi was too scared to notice. Then DK's loud snore pulls me out of my thoughts. Again, DK? I'm beginning to wonder if he has narcolepsy... Mr. Chuck doesn't notice though... Bowser was sitting right behind him, and we both were staring at him for a few seconds, our gazes meet and he shrugs, then we both pay attention to class again. I wonder how DK hasn't been caught yet... Oh well, back to calculus...

Bowser's POV:

Well, DK's asleep... again... Oh well, I'll just have to deal with his snoring... Again... Anyways, I feel really bad for Mario and Luigi...

Hey! I know, I know. I might be this big, burly, fire-breathing turtle, and I know that those two were my enemies, but I still have feelings too! I just... Don't make them as apparent...

Anyways, they're like this because of me, it's my fault they're... distant. I hope they make up soon before Wario notices, because this could start some real drama...

Then, there are lights flashing all throughout the school, and a muffled voice comes out of the speakers beside them...
