Today, I shall uproot
and find a distant shore
without giving a hoot
for that which we adore,
the things that bind,
but also make us blind.
Life is meant for living
not merely for surviving.
So, I shall uproot today
and throw life a lifeline
and invite it to come away
to that for which the heart pine,
to stop and be astounded
by all thats to be founded.
Life is meant for sharing
with passion and with caring.
