Too cute to ignore Yuqi x Fem! Reader

A mini photo shoot

I woke up the next morning around 11 am feeling refreshed. At first when I opened my eyes I didn't remember where I was. It took me a few second to realize where I was. I was in YuQi's room! I quickly turned to see if she was in the bed and she was not. I looked around to admire how we decorated earlier that morning. It was nice to see it all in day light for the first time. The room looks nice and cozy at night but its really pretty in the morning. YuQi must have opened the blinds to the window when she got up because the sun was shining in and spilling all over the room. I got up out of the bed and made it. I went over to the full length mirror against her wall.  It was so weird to see myself in her shorts and baggy shirt. We have somewhat different styles but it was nice. Her shorts had tacos on them and her shirt was a faded band shirt. I had never heard of the band but their logo seemed cool. 

I walked out of her room after cleaning it up a bit from the mess we made last night and walked out into the living room. From the living room I could see YuQi standing by the kitchen counter. "Good morning" I said as I walked to her. It seemed she was making pancakes, yum. "Oh, good you're awake. I'm almost done making breakfast" she smiled. I went to the fridge and grabbed some fruits, banana, strawberries, and blueberries. I walked to another part of the counter and cut up the fruit. I put some of the fruit in two bowls so we could eat it with our breakfast and used the extra cut up banana and strawberries to make us a strawberry and banana smoothie. After I poured the smoothies into their glasses I set the table. YuQi was finishing up the pancake batter so I slipped into the living room to call my mom real quick and let her know I was finally up and wasn't sure what I was going to do that day, probably finish homework, I told her I would definitely be home for dinner by 5:30. When I got to the table YuQi and I started eating. We put on Netflix and ate. 

After we finished eating and cleaning up we went back to YuQi's room to lay in bed and finish the episode we were watching. Before we knew it, it was already 1:30. After our episode finished I decided to wash up and get dressed. I was going to put on the same clothes I wore yesterday but when YuQi saw me going to put my shirt back on she stopped me and had me put on one of her shirts so I wasn't wearing "dirty" clothes. I felt kinda weird wearing her clothes all of a sudden but it was nice. This time to wear she gave me another band shirt to wear but this time the shirt wasn't baggy and actually fit. She also gave me one of her sweatshirts to wear over it. 

After we got dressed for the day I decided we should go out and do something. "What do you have in mind?" she asked. To be honest I hadn't really thought about it. I didn't really think this far ahead.  I recently had been wanting to get back into photography and my friends and I used to do photo shoots all the time. "How about doing a small little photo shoot?" I suggested. I could tell she was thinking about it. "It'll be really fun, trust me" I tried to assure her. When she finally said yes to doing it I got all excited. I hadn't done a photo shoot in a while. 

We got into my car and drove around the city a little bit looking for a place to take a few pictures. Not long after we got to the main part of the city we found a good spot. There was a spot in a little alley that would work. One side of the wall was for one of the clubs my band and I used to play at. The wall we were going to be using had a bunch of lights and had a big light sign. I had YuQi stand in front of the wall and at first she was kind of stiff and scared to pose. I really wanted these pictures to come out nice so I pulled out my phone and began to play her playlist on my phone. This idea seemed to work because as soon as the music started she began to sing and dance around the sign. It was really nice and some of the pictures came out really nice. 

After I got what I thought was enough photos I told YuQi to wait by the door of the club. I quickly went inside to see if things were still exactly the same from the summer. The owner and I got kinda close over the years my band and I played here and she expressed to me that over the beginning of the school year she wanted to remodel. I told her I wasn't sure if it would be the best but I never knew what she decided in the end because I stopped showing up. I tugged on the handle of the door and surprisingly it was unlocked. It was a little early for it to be opening up for the night but I didn't really question it. When I walked in all the memories came rushing back. Both good and bad. I walked along one of the walls tracing my hand along it as I walked. This wall was plastered with band posters, both new and old, well known and never heard of. It was a little tradition to put up your bands poster after your first show (if it went well). Walking along the wall I looked for my bands poster. To my surprise it was still up, taped right there on the wall where I put it just two years ago. Looking at the room I felt all those old memories and feelings coming back. I soon felt like I needed to get out. Everything was rushing over me and I felt like I was suffocating. I quickly walked out the front door and back into the alley. As soon as I got out the door I felt the fresh air fill my lungs. I took a second to step back and look at the neon sign one more time. Then I turned around and walked back to the car. I knew YuQi saw me, but I'm glad she didn't question me. All of this is too much to explain right now, and I'm still not over it.

After I dropped YuQi off back at her house and said goodbye I went back home. I ate dinner with my mom and then excused myself upstairs to my room. There I uploaded the pictures from our mini photo shoot outside the club onto my computer. I looked through all the shots and printed out my two favorites. Holding them in my hands made me realize how much I enjoyed looking at them. I printed out a second copy of the two pictures and put them in my math binder to give to YuQi tomorrow in class. The first pair I printed out I tacked up on the wall above me desk. I stood back to look at them on my wall. I really did like them.
