"Bring it asswipe!" Bakugou roared, his palms extended forward as he launched himself back into the open arena, smashing into Uraraka back first.

He swung around violently, as though he were on a pin, and unleashed a blast into her face, launching her across the room where she floated off into the sky. Mouth tightly clenched her eyes narrowed, but not in defeat. Kirishima looked up just in time to see the rest of her teammates floating just behind the cover of the field.

"Bakugou!" He roared, but it was too late to rescue his partner. He turned to Kaminari instead. "Ready?"

The blond nodded nervously as Kirishima braced himself. He pulled Kaminari under his arm and jumped off the ledge above the pit Bakugou had dived into, throwing his body into the leap. He hardened his legs to absorb the shock of the landing, setting Kaminari down where Bakugou's eyes had indicated, the rest of his body otherwise engaged in letting off blasts that both offered cover and kept the enemy back. Seconds later Uraraka released her quirk, plummeting as her team fell at their opponents; an ambush from above.

"Fucking clever bitch." Bakugou muttered, though his grin didn't waiver. Instead he lifted his arms. "Better harden Kirishima!" He shouted, the joy and adrenaline evident in his tone.

Grinning wildly Kirishima firmed the first few layers of his skin - he could feel his cells shifting, he could feel his pores closing and his heart pumping harder to push blood to the vessels under his skin; like veins of gold in solid rock. His speed was reduced, but not enough to stop him from reaching Bakugou's side.

Harder. His face pulled back, his soft tissue vanishing as the keratin in his hair and nails went stiff and merged into the equivalent of quartz. As the explosion blew outwards he blocked the debris from himself and his teammates, reflecting Tsu's tongue back to her, pushing Tokoyami's Shadow off to the side and into one of the pillars; a human shield. Kaminari then let loose a low level zap that; due to his strategically placed discs, enveloped their enemies and sent them all to the ground in thoroughly baked discomfort.

"That-" Tsuyu groaned as Aizawa called the match from the observation room above where the rest of the class watched and waited. "That was a good plan."

"Yeah." Uraraka frowned, pulling Tokoyami up. "I really thought we had a good one this time."

Bakugou shrugged, "Maybe if you fucking extras were better suited to our quirks?"

Kirishima sighed, his hand falling heavily on Bakugou's shoulder and pulling him back, "Could you say it nicer maybe?"

"I was being nice!" He growled as they exited, "It was a good plan except for the quirk thing."

Kaminari stifled a laugh. "Dude, you've always been such an abrasive ass."

"I know you were being nice, but dude..." Kirishima sighed, letting the space between him and Bakugou grow. "I don't know man. It's not like I really even did much anyway. Just kept you guys from getting hit by debris."

Kaminari twitched, "Wha-"

"The fuck that's all you did." Bakugou spun on a heel, jabbing his finger into Kirishima's shoulder hard enough for his quirk to instinctively activate. "I saw you push Shadow Fuck off. If he'd gotten to Kaminari, or one of his stupid metal plates-"

"Excuse me?" Kaminari's head turned sharply.

"- or if Frog Face had gotten him or me our plan would have been screwed." He shoved Kirishima, making him take a step back to brace himself. "I am so sick of you down talking your quirk. I said it once, I'll say it however many times it takes to get it through your thick ass skull , and I would know - I tutored you - you're fuckin' slow. You are Unstoppable. Unbreakable." Bakugou pulled back, his fist unclenching as he continued up the stairs.
