"I'm sure you'll be able to." I tell him smiling. The nurse calls my name. "Oh I gotta go. Good luck with your physical."
I follow the nurse to the doctor's office. "The doctor will be here soon. Just have a seat." She says politely.
I nod a little. "Yes ma'am." I sit down in a chair and just wait for the doctor to come in. I start looking around the room bored and see a couple Ardor crystals on his table.
I get up and look them over. There was a green and a blue crystal. I gently pick up the blue one and look it over. "Pure Ardor... I wish I could make one of these." I mutter to myself.
The doctor walks in. "Good morning Vitrea, I see you've found the gems. I thought maybe if I give you one of those it might help you generate Ardor." He explained.
"Oh I see." I look the blue one over. "So are we doing another blood test?" I ask sitting back down. The doctor nods. "Yeah we'll see how the Ardor crystals affect the results." He says.
The doctor got everything ready and took a small vial of my blood. He took out the needle and bandaged my arm. "Alright that should be in. We'll get the results in a couple of days. Keep the gem for now. We'll test again next week. I'll call you when the results come in."
"Oh okay." I look over the gem. "Do you think I'll ever get an Amicus?" I ask. The doctor sighs. "You might get one that wasn't raised for combat or a wild one that doesn't make the cut." He says
I smile a little. "As long as I can get one... I hope the Amicus won't be upset they're stuck with me." I say softly.
"I'm sure they'll love having you as their owner." The doctor assured. I nod "Okay. I gotta head back. I promised Carus that I'd play with her after my appointment."
The doctor nods. "Okay. Don't worry we'll figure this out." He promised. I sigh "Yeah okay." I leave before he could say anything else.
The Amicus I saw earlier was gone. I guess he was doing his physical right now. I hope it goes well. I step outside and smile seeing some pups play. I giggle a little as one tripped over its own feet.
I watch them for a minute before the mom see me. She lead the pups away from me. A lot of mother Amicus avoid me. They don't want any chance of their puppies wanting to be paired with a useless Mavor like me. "Sorry Miss..." I just head home upset.
Carus runs up to me excited. "Can we play now!" She starts to calm down noticing how upset I was. "Vitrea... You have to ignore those Amicus." She says. The only that ever got me upset was the Amicus avoiding me.
"I know but I'll never get paired if none of them want me." She says softly.
