I kept following the woman without thinking. I glance at my watch shyly as it counted down. I've been following her for about ten minutes now. We were pretty far from the pond at this point. I should turn back soon if I wanted to make the meeting.
The woman turns around and walks up to me. "Hello there Vitrea. Thank you for following me." Her necklace swayed a little due to her turning around. I watched it closely barely recognizing that she spoke up me. "Hi..." I mutter softly.
She lifted up my hand and took my watch off. She dropped it on the ground. We won't be needing this anymore. We wouldn't want anyone tracking you." She says. Everything she said made since. If Mom found out where I was, she might interrupt the meeting.
"So you're the powerless Mavor I've been hearing about. How interesting." She says gently grabbing my chin. She moves my head around to get a good look at me. I let her not really caring. I just watched the pretty necklace.
"Let's go to my place. I'd like to see how you tick. Especially how you drain so much ardor. That's very interesting." She says before taking my hand. She started to lead me away. I couldn't really tell where we were going. I've never been to this part of town before.
"Those doctors of yours are so useless. They can't see the potential in someone like you. They think you just have bad luck. I can make you stronger." The woman said with a crazed tone of voice. If I didn't get to look at the beautiful crystal, I would probably run.
She leads me into a small building. It looked like a rundown house from the outside. It wasn't anything to special. Inside was very different though. It was pristine and full of lab equipment. The most notable thing was the cage. It was a large glass cage that had an Amicus in it. It seemed to be a wild one since it didn't have a collar. Despite that it seemed to have powers.
It's fur was glowing a light purple color. It was sleeping currently. I vaguely recognize it as the Amicus from the doctors office. I gulp nervously and look at the woman. It was the nurse from the doctors office. I've only seen her a couple of times from visiting but I don't think she's seen me before. She probably worked with the amicus. She must of taken the Amicus while I was with the doctor.
"Do you like him? You've always wanted an Amicus. He didn't pass the physical so I figured I'd make him stronger. I'm going to give him powers and I'm going to do the same for you." Getting powers sounded great but sometime told me this wasn't a good idea.
