P.S. CONTINUING FROM THE LAST CHAPTER

It was an album. A brown, leather album which remained dusty and looked filthy enough to stain the white camisole I was wearing just by taking a look at it. I lifted it from the box and blew off the thick layer of dust on the cover.

As I flipped open the first few pages, my entire body felt numb, my legs felt like folding up

As I flipped open the first few pages, my entire body felt numb, my legs felt like folding up. The photos didn't look old in virtue of the colored printed photos. And I could definitely recognize the person in every photo. The fact that he was with a different girl in every picture. His emotions were so clear, even in the photo, he had this sheepish grin on his face.

I flipped on further and found a couple more of his photos. Each one with a different girl of course. Gradually when I came to the last few pages, they were all filled with writings. Hand writings that seemed ever so familiar. They were the hand writings of a boy I knew all too well. Of no other boy but Trevis

My mind went empty as I simply read through each and every line of his words.

Camellia,

You'll have to make strenuous efforts to get through love sometimes.

Love can be hard but life is harder.

Amy,

You'll find support someday. And you'll never regret that we met.

I've known someone named Camellia a long long time ago. That was way back in elementary school. And Trevis was only 14 then, while I was two years younger. My mind was flying everywhere. What was this all about? Who were all these young women taking pictures with Trevis? And why was Trevis writing them life and love quotes, or whatever you call it. And most important of all, why hadn't he mentioned any of this to me previously?

All I saw was confusion, right before me. I closed the album and thought of figuring everything out after a deep, deep sleep. Right now, I was wary and my eyes were starting to droop due to some lack of sleep.

As I nodded off tiredly, I thought I heard a sound whispering inside me telling me not to give up and to continue to dig out the truth behind all this.

I still couldn't figure out how the album had gotten here and who was behind the scene. My mind strolled on and on and I remembered thinking about Trevis grabbing my wrist in the hallway that day before I finally doze off into a long sleep.

It was 6 o'clock in the evening when I woke. Mom and dad had returned from shopping and were now fussing over whose turn it was to do the chores.

Bonnie was sitting at the kitchen table reading her book while waiting patiently for the two grownups to decided whose turn it was to take care of tonight's dinner.  Finally, she glanced up and saw me looking at her and her face suddenly lit up like a light bulb. I secretly signaled for her to come and with that she obeyed.

" Hailey! Listen, while you were busy snoring on the sofa this afternoon, there was this guy at the door who was looking for you."

Her eyes grew wide as she continued to blabber.

"And I lied to him that you weren't at home. And then he turned and left."

"YOU WHATTT?!"

I nearly screamed at her. Ugghh! That kid drives me mad sometimes.

"Heyy..What's the point of being so angry? I just told him to get the heck outta here cuz I saw his brown, wet hair and suspected him to have cooties. Even if he didn't come with his hair like that, I would have definitely called the cops to have him arrested cuz he has these little green tattoos on his arm. And you clearly know that bad guys are restricted from our house!"

Bonnie folded her arms and she looked cross.

" Did he tell you his name?"

I inquired.

" Yea, he said it was Terri..tyrex or Trevis, whatever it is."

She added nonchalantly and that made me smoulder with indignation.

"UGHHHH! Bonnie, you're such an IDIOT!"

With that, I stormed out of the living room, and up to my room while the two grownups spun around staring at me. The feud went on afterwards.
