Chapter 26 - The Final Brawl

"We have to find Peter or I'm going to go insane," Cole said clenching his teeth together.

"He's starting to get angry and it's starting to get late. Maybe you can see something and that can lead to a scent or something," Stiles thought. It wasn't a bad idea, maybe now that he is a werewolf it may have an affect on his original powers.

"Look into my eyes Cole," Scott said and stood in front of him. Cole looked deep into his eyes and saw a vision clearer then he's ever seen before. It was almost as if it was real and was happening before him he saw the whole pack at Derek's loft, where they currently were all ready for battle. He felt the rage building up inside himself as if it was happening to him right now - which it was but not to the extent that he was picturing in this vision. All of the sudden a high pitch scream from Lydia pierces through his ears and that was a sign that Peter was there and ready. It was the full moon which had to be tonight. He quickly realized that they don't have to find Peter, Peter is going to find them. Cole finally came too and felt his claws digging into his hands. "What did you see?" Scott asked.

Cole then explained his vision, "it's almost the end of the day we should prepare for Peter. Also, there's something different about him. He seemed to be very strong... more then usual."

"Maybe he's an Alpha now?" Isaac suggested.

"There's no way, why would he want to come kill Scott if he's already an alpha?" Stiles added in.

"It doesn't matter prepare for the worst and we'll find out when he gets here. Was he alone in the vision?" Scott asked. Scott was always the voice of reason.

"It looked like it from what I saw," cole said. The group got all together and waiting for Peter to arrive. Cole felt the rage building up inside of him and it was almost uncontrollable. He felt his fangs come out through his teeth and his claws through his fingernails. Before he knew it he was completely "wolfed out" and growling. Scott and Derek quickly grabbed him, and Cole began to fight back. "Let go of me," Cole snarled. Aiden went upstairs to grab some chains to keep Cole contained until the fight when they needed him. Aiden came back down with the chains and he traded places with Derek and handed them off to him. Scott was holding Cole's left arm and Aiden held the right.

Derek grabbed Cole's face and looked him in the eyes, "Think of Peter Cole, think of how much you want to destroy him. What he's done to you, and to your friends. Channel all your anger and think about Peter and unleash it on him." What Derek said began to replay in Cole's brain. Derek began to chain Cole up which caused him to grow angrier. He chained him to a few metal poles Derek had installed for an exact moment like this, something a newborn couldn't break out of. Cole growled and snarled and tried to break free. He grew angrier and angrier. Derek's speech caused an ongoing vision in Cole's head of Peter and how much he wanted to hurt him. Cole was ready to rip his head off. His eyes were glowing bright blue, as he had killed that wolf who was attacking Ethan and Aiden. His fangs were out, his claws were drawn and he was just waiting for Peter to walk through that door and be released so he could unleash all his anger. Stiles, Allison and Lydia stayed far away from Cole as they did not want to cross his path while he was going through his first full moon.

Sure enough a few hours went by and right as the moon came out Peter appeared. Cole began to go ballistic growling and yelling and cursing at Peter. Peter arrived ready to collect the powers of the true alpha Scott McCall, however the pack was never going to let that happen. Peter was not alone he had four other huge wolves with him and without saying a word the fight broke out. Ethan quickly ran over to Cole and unchained him and everyone cleared a pathway for him as Cole was ready to attack anything that got in his way. He locked eyes with Peter and ran toward him but one of his wolves intercepted his run and they began to brawl. Aiden and Ethan joined together and took on the biggest wolf. Scott began fighting with Peter, and Isaac and Derek each had someone of their own to fight. Stiles and Lydia stayed back with Allison who was shooting her crossbow from a far. It was a huge scramble Ethan and Aiden managed to take down the wolf they were fighting first and they moved on to help Scott fight Peter. Peter grabbed ahold of Scott and threw him across the room. Scott's body hit the wooden staircase and it crumbled underneath him on impact. Scott lay there for a minute to recollect himself and then got back up to help Ethan and Aiden. Derek slashed the throat of the wolf he was fighting and just as he was about to do the same to Derek, Allison shot a silver headed arrow filled with mountain ash inside the head through the skull of the wolf and he fell to the ground and was unresponsive. Derek turned and nodded at Allison and then moved on to help Isaac. Cole was in the midst of fighting the one wolf and he grabbed ahold of him and tackled him to the ground. The two were rolled on the ground and scrapping it out until Cole was able to get on top of the other wolf and continuously slashed at his face, throat and chest until eventually he was told weak to fight back. Cole stood up feeling accomplished but as soon as he looked up he saw Isaac's body being thrown towards him and the two went flying into the wall behind him. Isaac visibly dazed took a minute to catch his breath and get up whereas Cole shot up quickly and ran back into battle even angrier. He went to help Derek fight the wolf he and Isaac were fighting. Cole jumped into the air and as he came down he used the momentum of his landing to strike through and slash his claws through the throat of the wolf and Derek followed through with the same movement right after. Until the unconscious body of the werewolf crumpled to the ground before them. Derek, Cole and Isaac joined Scott and the Twins fighting Peter. Peter instantly realized he was out numbered and tried to convince them to let him go. Scott tried to talk to him man to man and it seemed to be working however Cole had a strong feeling Peter would return even through he was currently agreeing that he wouldn't. Cole - still filled with rage - ran at Peter however Peter pushed him back and Cole went flying backwards. Isaac tried to calm Cole down and Cole pushed Isaac who went flying into the staircase Scott fell through. Cole ran and jumped and Peter just as he did the other wolf faster then anyone had seen before and slashed Peter's throat. Peter dropped to the floor lifelessly. Cole was sure that he had killed him and he stood over him and continued to slash and claw and rip at Peter's lifeless body to ensure his death. Sure enough the blue faded from Peter's eyes and he was dead. The twins carefully pulled Cole off of the body and the sun began to rise Cole began to release his rage. Sure enough Scott and the entire pack we're safe.

"This is not how we operate in this pack Cole," Scott scowled. "We do not kill people we do not have to."

"He was going to kill you, I was not going to let him walk away and come right back and try and kill you again," Cole stood up as he started to get angry again. His eyes turned blue as he said "I was protecting you."

"Cut him some slack Scott, he still has no knowledge or experience suppressing the anger and rage you get during a full moon." Derek said defending Cole. "We were the ones who riled him up and chained him up until Peter got here. We used him in this fight today and if you didn't want anyone to be killed you shouldn't have because Cole has no anchor yet and no understanding of how any of that works."

Ethan slowly walked up to Cole and grabbed his shoulder slightly. Cole turned and looked at him and his eyes went back to normal and he reached out for Ethan's face and kissed him.

"You're right," Scott admitted. "Thank you Cole, thank you everyone for helping me. The main thing now is that we are all safe and everything can go back to normal. Well for now."

"Is there really ever a normal moment in Beacon Hills?" Cole asked.

"You're catching on to how things go around here," Stiles laughed and patted him on the back. Everyone began to laugh as they walked out of Derek's place leaving Derek behind.

"Oh, so I'm just left to clean all this up?" Derek asked sarcastically.

"Oops," Stiles said and they all turned to help Derek clean his house.

Cole continued to live with the Stilinski's, he visited his sister as often as he could. Sheriff and Melissa began to date which excited Scott and Stiles very much. Ethan and Cole continued to date and grow their love for one another. Ethan helped Cole cope with his new life of being a werewolf and helped him deal with temptation and anger. Some would say became his anchor.
