Unforgivable Mistake

Chapter 2

Iris's Pov:

Lunchtime

"Can you believe the amount of homework we got!? And that's just from our first 4 lessons! How am I ever gonna finish all this by next week!?" V wouldn't stop complaining about the homework while stuffing her face with food.

"Calm down it isn't even that much work we just have to answer a few questions." I said trying to get her to relax.

"Easy for you to say. You find everything easy."

I just rolled my eyes and carried on eating. That's what you think I thought.

Me and Vi were standing in the corridor when we were suddenly pulled into a hug.
"Hey guys! How'd you enjoy the holidays?",said our other best friend. His name was Mark. He was a serious person but he could act like a complete idiot at times.

"Hey Mark.", I said while trying to catch my breath once he let us go.

"Did you guys hear about what Rose did to that kid in year 7?",He asked.
"No", me and Vi answered.

"Come on let's go I'll show you. I think she's still there."

Rose was like the queen in our year.
And she had her 2 sidekicks. Lisa and Jennie. All of them acted like they were the best in the school and they told everyone what to do. Just because she's pretty and every boy dies for her Rose thinks she can do what she wants. In my opinion she's just a spoilt,selfish brat that needs to be taught a lesson.

"Move out of my way losers!", I heard Rose shout.
And there she was  The 'queen'.

"Oh look who it is",she said while looking at me and my friends.

"Just leave us alone Rose",Mark said.

"Who do you think you are telling me what to do?"

"I said lea-"
Suddenly girls started squealing. I looked to my right and saw Daniel. Daniel is the most popular boy in our whole school and I mean the entire school.
"Hey princess",he said to Rose."What's going on here?"

"He called me a bitch and  other names",she told Daniel while pointing at Mark.

"What? I ne-",but before he could finish his sentence Daniel punched him in the face.

"Oh my god!! Mark are you okay?!",gasped Violet.

While Violet took Mark to first aid I couldn't control my anger anymore.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! YOU THINK EVERYRHING IS ABOUT YOU. WELL GUESS WHAT. IT'S NOT. FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE THINK ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND WHAT THEY'RE GOING THROUGH. THIS WORLD DOES NOT EVOLVE AROUND YOU!!!", I screamed at Daniel.

"How dare you speak to him like that!",Rose shouted while trying to hit me but before she could do anything I grabbed her hand.

"Don't you DARE try hit me again." I threatened and I walked off leaving them both standing there.
