"The stars are so beautiful..." [Y/N] whispered, longing to feel the bright, colossal constellations that sat above her. She longed to reach out and hold the bright light in her arms, something to comfort her.
But she longed for more.
She longed for someone to share this beautiful sight with.
Ever since the incident with Chisaki and Night Eye, the person that she once shared the night sky with was under turmoil. She could only hope and pray that his spirits would one day light up once more, just like the stars in the night sky. He was brighter then any other star, he was her light that she was able to hold.
But how long could that last?
She laid back onto the grass, placing her hands behind her head to get more comfortable. Staring at the night sky never felt so empty, so desolate. Her eyes began to close, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

"Mirio! Up here!" [Y/N] exclaimed, a wide smile on her face. Her [E/c] eyes glistened with tears, small drops of salty water dripping down her face. Mirio stared in awe; the position that she was in along with her beautiful facial features just made for a perfect person. The moonlight made her look like a goddess, he noted that.
Mirio was never one for love or affection. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it, but he didn't know how to convey to another person that he had feelings for them without being blunt. According to Nejire, being blunt wasn't something that people liked. So he'd constantly tone himself down around the people he liked - romantically, of course. When he was around normal friends, he didn't care whether or not he was bothering them with his smoldering attitude. He personally enjoyed how he acted around others.
But for [Y/N], he wanted to be the best person alive. He wanted to be perfect. Not for himself, but for her. Knowing that no one in reality could be perfect was certainly a challenge; he wanted to be the first to excel in everything. Again, it wasn't because he wanted to improve, but it was because he wanted to be the ideal man in [Y/N]'s eyes.
But in every reality, Mirio was so much more than that. More than perfect. When he simply breathed, [Y/N] could feel her heart patter wildly against her chest, and her cheeks flared in astonishment. She'd always think to herself, how can a man be so perfect?
Mirio trudged up the hill, running excitedly towards [Y/N] who wore the brightest smile, opening her arms to hug Mirio. He hurriedly accepted the embrace, holding her body flush against his. He could feel her chest raise... Up and Down, Up and Down. He also noted that her breathing became quicker, meaning she was nervous. But he didn't want to let go, no, he wouldn't. Not when they were perfectly beneath the stars.
Leaning back to look her her face, his heart suddenly stopped when he saw her expression. She was crying, eyebrows furrowed and teeth gnawing at her lip. Mirio panicked, eyes widening as she sobbed harder, tears furiously rushing down her face. His fingers delicately brushed her cheeks, wiping the excess tears off of her red cheeks. Cold... Her skin was so cold.
"I-Is something wrong?" Mirio stuttered, hugging her body closer to his.
"Everything is so perfect, Mirio... I love you, so much!" [Y/N] cried out, grasping his shirt tightly.
Beyond the hill, a small child slowly padded towards them, small feet tapping against the grass.[Y/N] looked beyond Mirio's shoulder, staring curiously as the child stepped closer. Beautiful brown hair with matching eyes, truly a breathtaking child. But the tears that entranced his features - just like [Y/N] had been before - didn't fit his childlike aura. He seemed distressed, sad, in need of help. Slowly detaching herself from Mirio, she walked over to the small child while Mirio recovered from the heartfelt moment. When realizing that she had walked off, he frantically looked around the area, only to see [Y/N] crouched beside a child in the distance. Instantly, his heart warmed once more at the sight. Eyes glossed over with joyful tears he rushed over to [Y/N].
"What's wrong little one?" [Y/N] asked the child, pressing her cold hands against the child's warm cheeks. He winced, drawing back in fear.
"M-My mom, I can't find my mom!" The child weeped, tugging onto her dress. Mirio awed at the child, patting his head gently. It was night, a bit odd for a child and a mother to be out in the park. But nonetheless, [Y/N] and Mirio vowed to aid the child.
Grabbing his small hands, the three walked up the hill once more and sat in silence, staring at the stars above.
"These stars are a symbolism of how our world remains filled with hope, sorrow, bitterness, and love. A constant reminder of how humanity still has a chance, and how we all are connected in some way. Don't you agree?" [Y/N] asked, looking towards the boy who had now calmed down, eyes entranced with the night sky. He nodded, smiling wide at the female seated beside him. She returned the favor, eyes closing in bliss.
For now, they'd sit beyond the green fields, below the night sky.
It was perfect.
Perfect...
Everything was perfect.
Everything was beautiful when you are beneath the stars.
