He could hear is mother she was screaming and crying, he walked confidently towards he only his hands shaking gave him away, Scorpius stopped at his parents' bedroom door, and he stopped and stared in at the sorry sight. His mother was sat on the bed convulsing and writhing as if she was starting her transformation and he half looked out the window at the moon. Just as he turns away from her screaming his father came gliding down the hall way.

"Go away Scorpius," he barked pushing Scorpius aside and shutting the door.

"I've lost it! The baby I lost it. I won't I can't take this anymore. I don't love you I never loved you!" screamed Scorpius' mother her voice screeching through the wood, "All you put me through, and I thought I wasn't good enough but I was, I was. I didn't deserve a baby at eighteen, I didn't deserve the ridicule, I didn't deserve being dragged down with you. I'd rather be a werewolf than a Malfoy!"

"Stop you're crying. You're not a child and you are both a werewolf and a Malfoy and that was your choice!" hissed Mr Malfoy at her his face contorted with deep dislike.

"You bastard!" she howled.

"Very well, if you want it then a divorce will be heading your way but don't think you'll get any pity from me. We both used each other." His father's voice rang in Scorpius' head.

Scorpius ran his blood pounding in his ears, he didn't understand, he ran to his sister's room. There she sat with anxiety deep set in her face, he curled up on her lap hand's clamped over his ears just like he used when it had been a full moon.

"Scorpius sent a letter to say he's not going on holiday anymore, he can stay whenever and however long is all right with us," Rose smiled one morning.

Albus and his siblings were staying at Rose's house, their parents were working the school hour shift at the Ministry, and they were on the tail of another Dementor attack. Dementor attacks were not as common as they used to be the dangerous creatures occasionally attacked people mostly muggles.

Emma was already staying with them for the whole holiday; it was the first week into the summer holidays.

"That's cool," Emma said.

"Why is his holiday cancelled?" Albus asked.

"I don't know he didn't say," shrugged Rose.

"Well, as soon as your friend gets here we can go and stay in that house in Wales," Ron said stiffly passing to hang up the laundry.

"Yeah, that house is huge!" Hugo opened his arms wide.

"We're not going to fit in a house that size Hugo," Emma said trying to be friendly.

Hugo blushed and hid his face, as he went in search of Lily.

"I'll write back to him," Rose said disappearing again.

Albus and Emma went outside into the garden where Hugo was pushing Lily on a makeshift swing.

"Do you think Rose and Scorpius will go out?" Emma asked.

"Yes. But not just yet," he simply said.

They turned to look up at the house. The end window of the cottage was Rose's, as they watched she opened it and Scorpius' eagle flew out and into the sky. Albus and Emma watched it for as long as possible sending their love with it as something was definitely wrong.

Albus crept past Hermione's office, she worked from home as a writer and Human and Creature Rights campaigner. Inside she was writing a new book which had remained a secret for the past few months, she said it was going to be her best work and probably take many years to complete; though as he passed he heard her talking to Ron.
