Albus awoke in the Great Hall along with a lot of the others, to raised voices coming from the Entrance Hall.

Albus paled as he recognised the voice of his Dad.

"It is probably your son's fault sticking his nose in where he shouldn't. Dragging my son along with him!" A nasty drawling voice snarled.

"My son? If your son is anything like you then it was definitely his fault!" Albus' father said in a tone that Albus had never heard him use before.

"Please Gentlemen. My office, you're disturbing by students." This voice filled Albus with dread.

"Sorry Professor," Both men said.

Albus with relief heard them walking away.

Breakfast and finally Scorpius arrived at the Ravenclaw table. Albus hurriedly waved him over and quickly explained about their dads.

"She brought my father in? She really didn't trust us did she?" Scorpius glared.

"Yes and I'm expecting we'll have to have a talk as well," Said Albus, just as an owl landed in front of him.

Dear Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy,

Please come to my office as soon as you have finished your breakfast.

Your thanks,

Professor McGonagall

Albus showed the letter to Scorpius and they stood up to leave. Emma and Rose looked at them sadly.

"Well at least hopefully we'll miss Charms," Scorpius said grimly.

They entered the office, Albus' dad and Professor McGonagall sat either side of the desk, while Mr Malfoy as pacing up and down the room.

"Mr Potter, Malfoy please I would like to hear your story again. If you don't mind," Professor McGonagall's eyes were bloodshot, but her voice remained the same efficiency.

Albus' dad looked at him, Albus went to stand next to him and this was copied by the Malfoys. Scorpius and Albus told their story again but this time they added what they'd seen throughout the year. Professor McGonagall had gone pale and her lips were so thin they had almost disappeared.

"We have made a search but no charm was found," She said.

"Well obviously or he would have found it by now!" Scorpius blurted out.

"Scorpius!" His father barked.

"Sorry Professor," he looked down a red flush tinging his face.

"Professor, excuse me but do you believe them and trust them or not? It seems quite sensible to me," Mr Malfoy spoke.

"Yes I agree," Albus' dad nodded.

Professor McGonagall looked shocked a little but then said, "well then, I'll call up Professor Van Dutch to see what it is he has to say."

Professor Van Dutch was an impressive figure, he was tall, slender with dark her and bright eyes, but his impressiveness was not imposing as he also had the youthful expression of a boy out looking for fun, he was both endearing and harmless. He smiled uncertainly at Albus as he stepped in and sat down on a chair that Professor McGonagall had pulled up. He looked awkward in a ring of people his expression was completely gormless. Albus looked at him and a doubt suddenly appeared in him, perhaps they had got it wrong this man did not look like a murder.

"Professor Van Dutch, now would be the time to bring worth any information you may have regarding recent events," Professor McGonagall said calmly.
