Not what it seems (HU highschool AU)

Chapter 3

-Danny's POV-

I blinked and looked around the hall to see kids whispering and looking at me confused, I stand up and go back to Dylan's table
"Yo wtf, I'm surprised he didn't attack you" Matt said, I just nod slightly, thinking about Jorel, he had the most beautiful face.. and there was something about him tha- no Danny! I thought, he brakes the law and he hurts people, you can't be crushing on someone like that, I was shoved out of my thoughts suddenly by the sound of the bell, I began walking to class but decided to go to the bathroom to clean off my face first since I was sure I got some lunch on it, I started walking to the bathroom but as I got closer and closer I started to hear crying and the sound of vomiting, worried I ran into the bathroom and saw a guy sitting by the toilet, his arms were a mix of cut and bruised and Then I noticed that it was Jorel of all people, only now did I notice how dangerously underweight he looked, I then put two and two together and figured that he must have been the one throwing up.

-Jorel's POV, half an hour before-

I was sitting with my friends eating my food, even if I knew what I would do with it after I still ate, Jeff laughed "watch what you're eating Fatty" he joked, I looked down tears filling my eyes and I walked to the school bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror there for about 15 minutes before taking my hoodie off, I looked down at my already scarred and cut up arms, and then I looked at the bruises, WHY, WHY DOES HE HATE ME?! I thought to myself, finally letting the held in tears drip down my face like a fountain of sorrow as I took out my blade, 1..2..3 cuts i said to myself as I proceeded to cut my arms 3 times on each arm, I then went to the toilet and forced a finger down my throat forcing myself to throw up, I did that until I was convinced I had gotten rid of all the food I had had that day, I then just sat down and cried until a kid walked into the bathroom and walked over to me, I looked at him, it was that kid from the lunch hall, he then spoke "a-are you ok..?"
