Jorel's POV
I walked to school holding hands with Danny, for once I felt confident, things would be fine and nothing could stop us! We were in love and no one could stop it! Even the weather seemed to be on our side, a warm summers morning with a cloudless sky and bird's chirping making a song of love and new starts. My lover had a warm smile on his face to as his hand connected with mine well we walked, I thought and remembered everything we had to fight through to get to this point, and it all seemed worth it, just for this angel, we arrived at school and sat down on a bench, we ignored the weird looks people gave us, the glares, the middle fingers, and I just looked into his eyes as his gaze met mine, and we understood, people's glares could never matter, because the only eyes that matter to us, were each other's, a smile crossed my face as I rested my head on his shoulder, he held me close and we let the whole world and even time itself, become nothing but a blurry memory, as if we could spend forever in each other's arms, the world could never reach us, and we were safe in this moment, oh how I begged whatever god gave me this angel to also make this moment last for a lifetime. His soft kind voice, his gentle personality, his loving eyes, how did I ever get a gift like him? He was mine, and I was so overjoyed. But as the bell rang and we stood up, ready to rejoin the real world, we muttered one phrase to each other
"I love you..."
